American Idol's Adam Lambert Arrested and Jailed in Finland
American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert was arrested and sent to jail on Thursday, after getting into a fight with his boyfriend outside of a bar in Finland, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Lambert and Sauli Koskinen, a Finnish reality TV star, reportedly got into a brawl inside a Helsinki gay bar called DTM (Don't Tell Mama), and continued the fight outside after being removed from the club.

The two were arrested at around 4 a.m. Thursday, and spent several hours in jail following the altercation, but were released Thursday afternoon.
However, it seems as though the couple has made amends. Hours later, Lambert tweeted, "Jetlag+Vodka=blackout. Us÷blackout=irrational confusion. jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it. :)"

Drake, Tony Bennett, Cee Lo Green Help Carson Daly Rock in the New Year on NBC
Will Drake and Tony Bennett be the next to pair off on one of Bennett's "Duets" tunes? Maybe not. But the rapper and crooner are among the guest who'll perform on NBC's "New Year’s Eve With Carson Daly" special on Dec. 31.
The Times Square-based event will also include appearances by Daly's cohorts from "The Voice" -- Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green -- as well as Jimmy Fallon, The Roots, Jessie J. and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star J.B. Smoove.
Daly will also count down the top five "game changers" of 2011, while NBC News' Brian Williams will -- oddly enough-- review the year in music.
As for other networks' NYE countdown specials, Demi Lovato will host MTV's "NYE in NYC 2012" with performances by Selena Gomez and Jason Derulo, and Kathy Griffin will again team up with Anderson Cooper on CNN.
Fox has hired "Pawn Stars" stars Rick Harrison and Austin "Chumlee" Russell to co-host "American Country New Year's Eve Live" with comedian and actor Rodney Carrington (and performances by "American Idol" runner-up Lauren Alaina, Toby Keith and Joe Nichols).
On ABC, "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2012" will include a Fergie-hosted Los Angeles segment, as well as performances by Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Hot Chelle Rae, LMFAO and Florence + the Machine.

Fans Invest in German Film Version Of ‘The Office’
Fans Invest in German Film Version Of ‘The Office’
Online crowd-funding raises $1.3 million in one week for big-screen take on German sitcom “Stromberg.”
German fans are paying for their own, cinematic, version of The Office.
The producers of Stromberg, the German adaptation of the fly-on-the-wall office sitcom created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, have raised some $1.3 million (€1 million) in just one week in an online crowd-funding action to bankroll a German feature film based on the series.
Producers Brainpool have been mulling a big-screen version of Stromberg since 2008 but had been unable to finance the project through traditional means. So they turned to the Internet and to die-hard fans of the show, which is now in its 5th and final season on German television.
For an investment starting at €50 ($65) fans received various goodies – such as tickets to the film’s premiere. Top tier investors, who invested up to €1000 ($1300) in the project, also get an equity stake and will share in any eventual profits.
Within a week, nearly 3000 investors answered the call and Brainpool said it had raised $1.3 million. Brainpool hopes to use traditional financing to close its budget and expects to begin shooting the Stromberg film late 2012.
Crowd-funding has become a hot topic in Germany after the success of the adult-themed Hotel Desire. The erotic feature was bankrolled through a mix of crowd-funding, sponsorship and distribution deals. Hotel Desire was released straight-to-VOD earlier this month and beat out VOD download figures from such blockbusters as Hangover 2 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II on Deutsche Telekom’s online platform.

Bill O'Reilly Asks Bill Clinton: 'Do You Respect Newt Gingrich?'
Bill O'Reilly Asks Bill Clinton: 'Do You Respect Newt Gingrich?'
Fox News' Bill O'Reilly finally got his long-sought interview with former President Bill Clinton on Tuesday -- and used the occasion to ask a timely question about Newt Gingrich.
"You worked with Newt Gingrich. Do you respect him?" O'Reilly asked about the Republican presidential contender and former House speaker, whose clash with Clinton led to a government shutdown near the end of 1995 and at the start of 1996.
Clinton paused briefly before responding, "I respect his ability to think and do and I eventually hammered out a really productive relationship with him."
O'Reilly was ready with a tricker follow-up: Did Clinton respect Gingrich as a man? Gingrich admitted in 2007 that he was himself in the midst of an affair as he led the impeachment of Clinton for lying about his relationship with Monica Lewinsky.
"I don't disrespect anyone who works with me in good faith," he said. "He was way more political than I would have been. He defended what he calls scorched earth politics and I certainly was the beneficiary of it."
He noted that he and Gingrich "worked together for five years," but told O'Reilly there was no way he would vote for Gingrich for president. "No," he said. "I'm gonna vote for Obama."
Gingrich also appeared on Tuesday's "O'Reilly Factor," and was asked, in turn, if he respected Clinton. Gongrich said he did, and said he thought he understood why Clinton didn't want to praise him: "I don’t think he wants to give you a quote that we could use in an ad next summer to try to draw moderate Democrats away from President Obama."

'Work It' Ripped by LGBT Groups for Cross-Dressing Premise
'Work It' Ripped by LGBT Groups for Cross-Dressing Premise
The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation and the Human Rights Campaign have ratcheted up their campaign against the upcoming ABC comedy "Work It."
The two groups took their argument to the pages of Variety on Tuesday, placing a full-page ad saying the show makes fun of the transgendered.
The ad, titled "Message to ABC: 'Work It' Will Harm Transgender People," argues that the series, which portrays a pair of men who disguise themselves as women in order secure employment, will encourage mockery.
"By encouraging the audience to laugh at the characters' attempts at womanhood, the show gives license to similar treatment of transgender women," the ad reads.
The ad lauds ABC's "record of positive portrayals of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people," but adds that the network "should know how offensive this show is, and that it even has the potential to jeopardize the safety of many transgender Americans in the process."
The two groups will also meet with ABC to discuss the series, which is slated for a Jan. 3 premiere and stars Ben Koldyke ("How I Met Your Mother") and Amaury Nolasco ("Prison Break") as the cross-dressing job-seekers.
GLAAD and HRC fired off their first shot against the series last week. GLAAD issued a statement slamming the show and asking ABC to "consider whether airing this show is worth the damage it has the potential to do," while HRC urged the public to boycott the series.

Kim Jong-Il Still Alive on '30 Rock' -- Now What Do They Do?
Kim Jong-Il Still Alive on '30 Rock' -- Now What Do They Do?
Oh, Kim Jong-il, why did you have to go and ruin a "30 Rock" subplot?
The death of the North Korea strongman on Saturday has left the NBC sitcom in an awkward position. At the end of last season, Avery Jessup (Elizabeth Banks) was kidnapped by Kim and forced to live in the wintry, totalitarian country as the dictator's propaganda mouthpiece.
What the creative team at "30 Rock" clearly didn't count on was that "Dear Leader" would expire before the show returns for its mid-season debut on Jan. 12.
A new promo for season 6 of the sitcom that hit last week shows Kim very much alive and posing for anti-American themed holiday cards with Avery.
How "30 Rock" will integrate Kim's demise into the show was almost instantly the topic of Twitter speculation after the news hit.
"Is it weird my 1st thought on Kim Jong Il dying is what happens on #30rock? Is Avery an assassin?" tweeted @lacey1211.
Even Banks felt the need to weigh in via her own Twitter handle.
"Appreciate all the concern over Avery Jessup's fate now that Kim Jong Il has died. We're at a pivotal moment in history," Banks tweeted.

Real Housewife Teresa Giudice's Husband Indicted on Fake ID Charges
Real Housewife Teresa Giudice's Husband Indicted on Fake ID Charges
The legal troubles keep mounting for the "Real Housewives" crew.
Giuseppe "Joe" Giudice, husband of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice, has been indicted by a grand jury in Passaic County, NJ, on two criminal counts after he allegedly obtained a driver's license under false pretenses. His own license had earlier been suspended.
Giudice, 40, is charged with wrongfully using identifying information of another and impersonation. If convicted, Giudice faces up to 10 years in state prison on the first charge, and up to 18 months in state prison on the second.
According to the charges, Giudice used his brother Pietro's marriage and birth certificates to receive the license in June 2010 at the Paterson motor vehicle office. His license was and is currently suspended following a DUI charge.
The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office initiated an investigation after a routine traffic strop revealed that Pietro's license bore his information but Joe's photo.
The cast of Bravo's "Real Housewives" has seen as many legal problems as it has spinoffs. Earlier this year, "Real Housewives of New York" alum Bethenny Frankel was sued for $100 million by her former management company, which claimed that Frankel had chiseled them out of a 10 percent commission for her Skinnygirl cocktail line.

Kris Humphries' New Basketball Contract Will Last Longer Than His Marriage
Kris Humphries' New Basketball Contract Will Last Longer Than His Marriage
He may be down a wife, but Kris Humphries is entering next season with an $8 million contract from the New Jersey Nets.
The one-year pact will return the Kim Kardashian's soon to be ex-husband to his former team -- and will last longer than his marriage.
While the NBA's labor dispute has kept the power forward off the court, he's been deploying his hulking physique and coma-inducing monotone on the current season of E!'s "Kourtney & Kim Take New York."
Unsurprisingly, given that the union with Kardashian lasted a mere 72 days, his appearances have been fraught with tension.
The Kardashian sisters flirtation with naked yoga -- a practice Humphries deemed unsanitary -- was a pivotal plot point on a recent episode.
Oh that ... and the conflict between the basketball star's demanding workout schedule and his wife's punishing work-related appearances at night clubs.
The marital drama hasn't endeared Humphries to fans. The journeyman ball player is now the most hated player in the NBA, according to a recent Nielsen and E-Poll Market Research poll.
“I’m a positive thinker about everything in life,” Humphries told the Associated Press. “I always want to think positive about the things I can control. I am moving forward with everything just being here.”
Fortunately, the Nets will play their final season in New Jersey before moving to Brooklyn.
That would put Humphries several zip codes closer to the SoHo branch of DASH and dredge up lots of unpleasant memories of the Calabasas princess who left him.

Discovery Uniting 'Cake Boss' Viewers Through Social Media
Discovery Uniting 'Cake Boss' Viewers Through Social Media
The company has teamed with Arktan, a Silicon Valley company that specializes in “Social TV” to communicate, to weave together comments from fans of the show as well as its sites Curiousity.com and HowStuffWorks.com.
Fans of Discovery Communications' TLC show Cake Boss, as well as its popular sites Curiousity.com and HowStuffWorks.com, can now discuss what they are seeing, hearing and reading using technology from Arktan, a Silicon Valley company that specializes in “Social TV” to communicate.
In an agreement with Discovery announced Wednesday, Arktan will provide cloud-based software that weaves together what is being said about shows and sites on 40 social networking sites, including Facebook, YouTube and Twitter, with comments from fans and users. The technology company also provides interactivity that allows for things like polling of what people are thinking or interested about a show or site.
“We’re helping the brands extend real-time conversation from the social web to their own sites; this has helped stem the dispersal of real-time audiences due to time-shifting DVR technology,” said Rahul Aggarwal, co-founder and CEO of Arktan.
Aggarwal founded Arktan almost three years ago with Ralph Marx, who is also vp business development for the company.
“The social destinations for each episode on Curiosity.com and on other Discovery sites, such as HowStuffWorks.com, have allowed us to extend the discussions with and among our fans and ultimately broaden exposure for our brands, programs and platforms,” said Kelly Day, executive vp and GM, digital media and commerce, at Discovery Communications.
Arktan said it provides second-screen experiences for brands and websites. Its clients include entertainment shows including The X Factor and Dancing With the Stars (for whom it provides a polling service that counts toward the votes which impact the outcome). It also has news and communications clients including ABC, NBC, the Washington Post, Newsweek magazine and the Universal Music Group (including fan interaction pages for Lady Gaga and Dr. Dre). It has also done fan pages for things like the Republican candidates debate at Dartmouth College and for fans to comment about New Zealand Rugby.
A spokesman said Arktan is self-funded by its founders and, unlike most Silicon Valley companies, does not have a major venture capital investor. He said the company is already profitable.

The Walking Dead' Graphic Novels Dominate The New York Times Bestseller List
The Walking Dead' Graphic Novels Dominate The New York Times Bestseller List
The comic series holds 3 of the top 4 paperback bestsellers and 3 of the top 9 hardcover bestseller on the latest Times list.
Robert Kirkman's acclaimed zombie series The Walking Dead has taken over The New York Times graphic novel bestseller list like, well, a pack of zombies. The newest edition of the newspaper's signature sales list will find the The Walking Dead holding an unprecedented three of the top four paperback slots and three of the top nine hardcover spots.
No graphic novel series has ever dominated the list quite like Kirkman's Walking Dead and a sign of the series' steady popularity can be seen in the growing sales for the Book 1, a sure indication that it is picking up new readers as well as holding on to its original fans. The graphic novels collect the monthly comics series published by Skybound, Kirkman's imprint at Image Comics. The comic debuted in 2003.
On The Times' hardcover graphic novel list The Walking Dead owns the first, eighth and ninth spots. The Walking Dead: Book 1, which collects the first twelve issues, holds the top spot followed by Book 2 at no. 8 and the newest volume, Book 7, at ninth. On the paperback list, The Walking Dead Compendium, which collects a whopping 48 issues in a volume that clocks in at 1088 pages, is no. 1; Book 1, collecting just issues #1-6 in a softcover volume, is in the second spot and Book 3 is fourth. In addition, Kirkman's prose novel The Walking Dead: The Rise of the Governor, charting the back story of the series' most famous villain, is no. 18 on The Times' bestseller list for all books.
In July, Skybound'/Image Comics will publish the landmark hundredth issue of The Walking Dead comics series. Skybound also publishes Kirkman's popular series, Invincible, which is also nearing its 100th issue, and his other titles, including The Infinite, Super Dinosaur, Thief of Thieves and Battle Pope.
AMC started developing The Walking Dead for TV in 2009, after multiple networks passed on it. In its first season, which debuted on Halloween night in 2010, the series, became the highest-rated basic cable drama in the 18-49 demographic and the highest-rated original show on AMC ever. Comics creator Kirkman served as both a writer and an Executive Producer on the series. Season two is being shown in a split season, with the first half airing in Fall 2011 and the second in Spring 2012. The first half of season two made The Walking Dead the highest-rated basic cable drama of all time with the season premiere boasting 7.3 million viewers. The series stars Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal and Sarah Wayne Callies. The second half of season two debuts on February 12 on AMC.

'Glee': Watch Naya Rivera's Missing 'Santa Baby' Scene
Intended for last week's "Extraordinary Merry Christmas" episode, the song was ultimately among the scenes cut from the hour.
All Brittany and Santana fans wanted for Christmas was to see Naya Rivera singing "Santa Baby" in last week's holiday-themed episode.
The song, however, was among the scenes cut from last week's "Extraordinary Merry Christmas" installment, which ran long and also nixed a scene in which Blaine (Darren Criss) gives Kurt (Chris Colfer) his holiday gift.
Watch the missing scene below, in which Rivera's Santana helps a very lost looking Finn (Cory Monteith) shop for Rachel's pricey holiday gift.
And don't fret Gleeks, the song is included on Volume 2 of Glee's Christmas album.
What do you think of the Eartha Kitt cover? Hit the comments with your thoughts.

Glee' gets current with 'We Found Love,' 'Moves Like Jagger' covers
While the first half of "Glee" Season 3 featured more show tunes than chart-toppers, several recently released tracks from the second half of the season show a new direction for the FOX series.
First, Lea Michele and Naya Rivera tackle Rihanna's flawless Euro-pop track in a pretty faithful rendition (the synths are luckily still in tact). This is one of our favorite songs from Rihanna's new album, so we're psyched to have a "Glee" cover.
Less successful is Kevin McHale's mashup of "Moves Like Jagger" and "Jumpin' Jack Flash," not because he isn't a wonderful singer, but because the songs really don't have anything in common (aside from the Jagger connection). The Maroon 5 parts are faithful to the original, so if you're a fan of the tune (and really, who isn't), you might enjoy at least part of the track. It just didn't gel as a whole for us, however.
"Glee" returns with new episodes in January.
