'The Finder' plans another 'Bones' crossover episode -- with Eric Roberts, too
The newest "Bones"/"The Finder" crossover is now official. Jack Hodgins will head to Florida to work with Walter on a new case, and he's bringing along guest star Eric Roberts.
According to TVLine, T.J. Thyne will reprise his "Bones" role when his character travels to the Everglades to work with Walter on finding "an object that no one in the government believes to exist."
Meanwhile, Roberts will guest in the same episode (the ninth of "Finder's" first season) as the head of a gypsy family named Uncle Shadrack. The episode will air early next year on Thursday nights at 9 p.m.
"Bones" and "Finder" showrunner Hart Hanson recently told reporters that he was working on the episode, saying "We're closing in on having a conspiracy theory episode in which the ideal character, of course, is Jack Hodgins to come down and be dueling conspiracy theorists with Walter. The idea is really funny." The only hitch was making sure it worked with Thyne's schedule, which it obviously did.
Hanson also said that he's hoping to pen a third crossover that could possibly involve another familiar face. "We're also looking to see if there is a place and a room for Stephen Fry to appear in a 'Finder' episode as Gordon Gordon Wyatt."
