Harry Judd says Strictly Come Dancing success is down to fake tan
McFly star Harry Judd, who faces Chelsee Healey and Jason Donovan in this weekend's Strictly Come Dancing final, has put some of his success on the show down to applying fake tan before he performs on the programme.
McFly drummer Harry has become hooked on spray tans since starring on Strictly Come Dancing, whose final features Judd, Chelsee Healey and Jason Donovan.
Harry admitted previous contestant Robbie Savage – who is known for his fake tans – made it 'much easier' for him to apply the beauty treatment.
He told The Sun: 'I must admit I'm a big fan of fake tan. It doesn't smell nice but when you've got it on with your costume it puts you in the mood and gets you prepared. I've really embraced that and having Robbie Savage on the show made it much easier for me to get involved.'
Harry and his professional partner Aliona Vilani are set to take on Waterloo Road actress Chelsee Healey and ex-Neighbours star Jason Donovan and their respective partners Pasha Kovalev and Kristina Rihanoff in this weekend's Strictly Come Dancing final.
The McFly drummer has praised Aliona for helping him get so far in the competition, but he still doesn’t think he could dance well alone.
He added: 'Without her I'm nothing on the dancefloor.'
However, Harry's female fans may be disappointed as he is not planning to reveal all of his ripped body in this weekend's final.
The 25-year-old stickman explained: 'Maybe I'll undo a few buttons but I won't go topless.'
