'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Star Kim Richards Checks Out of Rehab
The Bravo reality housewife and former Disney actress has left a treatment facility, according to reports.
A source with knowledge of Kim Richards' situation tells THR that "she has not left treatment." No further information was provided. Meanwhile, People magazine has clarified its initial report that Richards had checked out of rehab to say that she remains in an inpatient facility, and was visited by her daughter, her sister Kyle Richards and Kyle's three daughters.
Weeks after checking herself into rehab, Kim Richards -- cast member on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and ex-Disney actress -- has left an inpatient treatment program, People magazine reports.
According to media outlets, Richards entered rehab earlier this month following months of erratic behavior that was caught on camera during the first and second seasons of the reality show. She previously sought treatment after the series' October 2010 debut.
"She's doing okay," a source was quoted as telling People. "The plan is for her to continue with outpatient therapy. Everyone is hoping for the best."
This season on Bravo's Beverly Hills edition, Richards was shown telling Dr. Paul Nassif, the plastic surgeon-husband of fellow housewife Adrienne Maloof, that she had been taking a mixture of anti-anxiety and anti-depression medication. In other dramatic footage, Richards and her co-star and sister, Kyle Richards, got into a heated argument with new castmate Brandi Glanville wherein Glanville accused the single mother of being on drugs.
