'Arrested Development's Tony Hale 'excited for Buster Bluth's hijinks'
Tony Hale has said he can't wait to begin shooting the Arrested Development reunion miniseries and movie this summer.
The star revealed to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon that he doesn't know anything about the plot yet, but he's sure Buster Bluth's latest hijinks will be enjoyable for Arrested Development fans.
"So much happened in my character's life in the two and a half years of that show: My hand was bit off by a seal. I dated Liza Minnelli… and so I can't imagine what's happened [since]," Hale quipped.
The actor went on to say that he most values the chance to work with Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, Michael Cera and the rest of Arrested Development's cast again.
"[They're] good people… I'm pretty stoked. I'm really, really excited," he said, adding: "I'm just excited to get together with everybody and do that material."
Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz recently revealed that the miniseries and film could be the first of many visits with the Bluth family.
The original television series aired on Fox for three seasons between 2003 and 2006, earning six Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe.
