Matt Cardle 'leaves record label'
Matt Cardle has reportedly parted ways with his record label.
The X Factor winner signed a contract with Columbia after emerging victorious in the seventh series of the show in 2010.
According to The People, however, Cardle has now decided not to renew his deal with the label after choosing to take his career in a different direction.
A source close to the 29-year-old said: "Everyone wishes him well."
Cardle is currently recording the follow-up to his 2011 debut Letters in Los Angeles, which he has said that he would like to release "ASAP".
The 'Run for Your Life' singer's upcoming concert at Boston Town Football Club has been put in jeopardy after the event was refused a licence.
