The Walking Dead: Episode One has received a release date for iOS devices.
Titled 'A New Day', the first episode will arrive on iPhone and iPad as a universal app on July 26 for $4.99 (£3.99).
The video game spinoff of the popular comic book and TV series features a brand new character named Lee Everett, a convicted murderer with a chance of redemption in the aftermath of the zombie outbreak.
Players will meet familiar characters such as Glenn, as well as new ones who can live or die in a branching story based on the choices made in each episode.
Future episodes can be purchased through the Walking Dead iOS app, or users can buy a multi-pack that will include episodes two through five at a 25 percent discount.
The Walking Dead: Episode One: A New Day launched for PSN, XBLA, PC and Mac in April. It garnered over one million sales in just under two weeks.
Episode two - titled 'Starved for Help' - released earlier this month on consoles, PC and Mac. The third episode is scheduled for release in August.
The Walking Dead: Episode One will be compatible with iPad 2, the new iPad, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and 4th generation iPod touch.
