BBC One controller Danny Cohen has hinted that The Voice UK will likely keep the same coaches for its second series.
Cohen insisted at the Edinburgh International Television Festival that he was "really happy" with the current line-up of Jessie J, Tom Jones, will.i.am and Danny O'Donoghue.
"We thought they made a very big impact for a first series and we want them all to come back," said the channel head.
"We haven't signed any contracts yet, so I can't say anything official. But we said at the end of the first series that we wanted all of our coaches to come back."
Cohen also defended the show's ratings performance - calling The Voice UK a "big hit" - but admitted that the singing contest had experienced "a few problems" during live performances.
He added that a second series would definitely incorporate format changes, including "probably less live shows"
Jessie J recently confirmed that she will return to The Voice UK via her Twitter account.
