AMC considering 'Breaking Bad' live aftershow
AMC is reportedly planning a live companion after-show for the last eight episodes of Vince Gilligan’s dark drama starring Bryan Cranston.
“Breaking Bad” might get “The Walking Dead" treatment for the end of the series’ fifth and final season.
In the style of “Talking Dead,” Vince Gilligan’s dark drama starring Bryan Cranston would get a talk show entitled “Talking Bad.” It would also be a half-hour, like “Talking Dead.”
Michael Davies’ Embassy Row would handle “Talking Bad.” Embassy Row also produces “Talking Dead.”
“Talking Dead,” hosted by Chris Hardwick (who also hosts the Nerdist podcasts), was the network’s first live after-show, where the current episode of “The Walking Dead” is recapped. Developments are also discussed with the zombie show’s actors, producers and fans. The show will expand to a full hour for season three.
The talker airs Sundays, immediately after an encore presentation of the zombie drama. “Talking Dead” premiered in 2011, in combination with the drama’s second season.
“Breaking Bad” also stars Aaron Paul. The show is set in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and is about a high school chemistry teacher with lung cancer who begins making methamphetamine to build a nice cash stash for his family.
