Billy Baldwin is making his way back to the Upper East Side, E! Online is reporting. Baldwin will reprise his role as William Van Der Woodsen, Serena's (Blake Lively) father.
The actor has made a number of visits to the series since first being introduced in 2010. The report states that Baldwin's episode will air sometime in February. It adds that Baldwin will be brought back because of "a crisis."
Baldwin's return will, no doubt, be a thorn in the side for Rufus. So be prepared.
But before Baldwin joins the show, much will happen on "Gossip Girl." First and foremost, we'll find out the outcome of the car wreck that headlined the mid-season cliffhanger. We're guessing Chuck (Ed Westwick) survived but is in a coma and that Blair (Leighton Meester) loses the baby.
The series returns Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. ET.
