Amanda Holden: 'The Queen, Kate and Wills watch Britain's Got Talent'
Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has revealed that the royal family are fans of the show.
The TV star, who will sit on the panel of the ITV reality programme again alongside Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon when it launches next weekend, said that she wants The Queen, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge to enjoy this series because they have admitted to her they like it.
Holden told The Sun: "BGT is a family show so I want to find an act that will appeal to the whole royal family. I want Kate and William to enjoy our acts as much as the Queen. I know they all watch the show, I've asked them."
One of the show's insiders said: "BGT is a show that is aimed at everyone - rich or poor, royal or commoner. It's great that the Queen and Kate and Wills are fans."
Last week, ITV debuted an advert for this year's Britain's Got Talent which saw Holden and her fellow judges being summoned to see The Queen and Cowell assure the monarch that he would not let her down with the show.
Last year, The Queen admitted to The X Factor finalist Mary Byrne that she asks her staff to "record" the show so that she can "watch it the next day".
Prince Harry has also sat in the live audience for The X Factor, attending with ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy in 2009, while Prince Charles is believed to be a staunch supporter of Strictly Come Dancing.
