A woman tossed flour at reality TV star Kim Kardashian Thursday in Los Angeles, where Kardashian was launching her newest perfume.
While walking the red carpet at The London West Hollywood, Kardashian was covered in flour by a woman who was detained by security immediately after she threw the flour.
The woman was later released at the scene after Kardashian told Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies she did not want to press charges, the Associated Press reported. But authorities took a non-criminal battery report, the AP said.
Kardashian, who removed the powder from her hair and returned to the event, told E! Online, "That probably is the craziest, unexpected, weird thing that ever happened to me. Like I said to my makeup artist, I wanted more powder and that's a whole lot of translucent powder right there."
