Cheryl Cole's representatives have dismissed claims that she mimed during last night's Voice UK performance.
The singer appeared on BBC One's live semi-final to perform her new single 'Call My Name', prompting some viewers to complain that she appeared to be miming, reports The Sun.
However, her publicist denied the claims, saying: "She sang live with a backing track."
Cole had reportedly insisted beforehand that she aimed to sing live on the show, with producers fearing that she would need an auto-tuned microphone.
A source added: "It would have been hard for Cheryl to have sung through the whole performance - it was such an energetic dance routine. But I'm sure people will be disappointed if they expected her to sing throughout."
The live performance saw Cole launch into a 10ft swan dive into the arms of her male dancers.
Cole has also dismissed claims made by Tom Bower that she had tried to manipulate Simon Cowell while on The X Factor.
