Tamsin Greig: 'Kissing Matt LeBlanc was a technical operation'
Tamsin Greig has said that snogging Matt LeBlanc in Episodes was not like real kissing.
Greig, as her character Beverly, kissed the ex-Friends star in the first season of the Showtime/BBC comedy.
Asked what it was like, she told Metro: "It's a technical operation. It's all about angles.
"Because we were on a sofa, we had cushions propping me up so you could see my face at a particular angle."
She added: "It wasn't like any known form of human kissing. It was like yawning close to him while he was also yawning close to me - while being watched by a lot of people."
When the actress was previously quizzed about kissing LeBlanc, she responded: "I'm sure no-one said to Matt, 'What was it like kissing Tamsin Greig? That must have been a real highlight of your career'.
"He's just a bloke and actually kissing is so technical. It's about being at the right angle and having the mouth in a certain position because a real kiss doesn't look very good on camera."
The second season of Episodes premieres tonight (May 11) on BBC Two and on July 1 on Showtime in the US.
