Kerry Washington stars as former White House communications director Olivia Pope in the ABC show. Her character is partially based on George Bush press aide Judy Smith.
Based in Washington DC, the show centres on Pope's new crisis management firm and its staff.
Henry Ian Cusick, Columbus Short, Darby Stanchfield, Katie Lowes, Guillermo Diaz, Jeff Perry and Tony Goldwyn also star in the first season.
It premieres in the UK on Thursday, October 25.
The show's second season started in the US last month.
More4 has also picked up the rights to highly-rated ABC drama Nashville, which stars Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights) and Hayden Panettiere (Heroes).
