The reality TV star appeared in the seventh series premiere, having departed the ITV2 show after its third run in 2011.
The Celebrity Big Brother star has now reportedly returned to the show as a regular for its current series, the Daily Mail reports.
Norcross was reunited with his estranged nightclub owner father Mick in the season opener.
The pair discussed their difficult relationship over the past few years, with the 24-year-old stating that their discussions always end in arguments.
However, Norcross told his father that he hopes to repair the relationship by spending more time together.
They were later seen shopping together in the episode while Mick said he would help his son exchange his car for a new model.
Mick Norcross has continued to appear in The Only Way is Essex since his son's departure, as his club the Sugar Hut remained a regular setting.
Kirk Norcross thanked his fans on Twitter for their support following his return, saying: ''Thanks for the support guys!!!! Love you all!!! ... I'm glad to be back!!! #KirksBack (sic)."
The seventh series premiere also included James 'Arg' Argent and Gemma Collins's break-up aftermath, Frankie Essex's new boob job and Joey Essex's plans to move in with Sam Faiers.
