Jerry Hall became the second celebrity to be voted out of the BBC show in its current 10th series on Sunday (October 21).
Du Beke stated that he felt the show judges did not hand Hall a fair review and should have given her another chance.
"Jerry danced really well on Saturday night but the improvement she made wasn't reflected in her marks from the judges," he told The Sun.
"Their comments were heavily weighted towards her posture - which does need work - and not the way she actually moved on the dancefloor.
"The show is called Strictly Come Dancing, so you would have thought that side of things would have been considered - but apparently not."
He added: "I'm not saying Jerry went from beginner to fabulous in a week but there was an improvement and I had hoped the marks would improve.
"There were no gimmicks to our routine, I didn't swing her in or drag her across the floor. We did a proper dance with depth and Jerry was quite capable.
"She is a super lady and I'm sad we will not get to spend more time together. I have no idea why people didn't pick up the phone and vote for Jerry.
"But I think if the judges had given her another chance the viewers would have got to know her better and loved her. She's an absolute legend."
Anton Du Beke also insisted that he doesn't mind which celebrity he is partnered with each series, and said that his favourite moments are sometimes with the less talented stars.
"I don't care who I get. There's no advantage to getting the so-called favourite because you don't know how good they are at that point.
"If I had been paired with the favourite two years ago I wouldn't have got Ann Widdecombe and that was my favourite series so far."
He added: "This year Louis Smith is a favourite, Lisa Riley is doing well - although some dances won't suit her - and Denise Van Outen and Kimberley Walsh are dancing nicely.
"But things can change so quickly. All it takes is a bad dance at the wrong time and you've gone. I've seen lots of good dancers ruin things with one bad routine."
