Bam Margera's 'Potentially Dangerous' Game Show Gets Green Light From TBS

Bam Margera has found a new outlet for his prank-happy ways.

TBS has given the go-ahead for a new series for the "Jackass" star in the form of "Bam's Bad Ass Game Show," a competition series in which contestants will engage in "incredibly demented, potentially dangerous and occasionally painful challenges" in pursuit of a $10,000 prize, the network said Wednesday.

On the show, which has been given the go-ahead for a six-episode season, contestants will endure such ordeals as "answering trivia questions while dangling above a pool of trash-filled water or dropping a watermelon on a target after being shot out of a cannon." The loser of each competition will be sent home until a final victor emerges -- though, truth be told, elimination from the series sounds like the real prize.

Naturally, the series will have an educational component, with Margera and his cohorts helping to design and demonstrate the challenges and "occasionally wind[ing] up worse off than any of the contestants."

Margera is executive-producing, along with David A. Hurwitz ("Fear Factor") and Noah Bonnett ("Total Blackout"). Bill's Market & Television Productions is producing.

"Bam's Bad Ass Game Show" will premiere in 2014.
