It's the news Honolulu Heights fans have been waiting for: we can finally confirm that Being Human will return to BBC Three for series five at 10pm on Sunday the 3rd of February.
Six brand new episodes following the stories of Hal (Damien Molony), Tom (Michael Socha), and Alex (Kate Bracken) are on their way, in which the new-look supernatural Barry three are faced with an enemy of unusual evil.
In terms of writing this season, episodes one and six come from creator Toby Whithouse, episode two from new writer Daragh Carville, episode three from Becoming Human's Jamie Mathieson (Educating Creature, Type 4, and The Graveyard Shift), episode four from John Jackson (Puppy Love, The Pack), and episode five from former Neighbours writer and Merlin/Primeval script-editor, Sarah Dollard. Regular directors Phil John and Daniel O'Hara will also be returning behind the camera.
Guest stars for the series so far are The Mighty Boosh's Julian Barratt, Eastenders and Getting On's Ricky Grover, and Skins and Bedlam's Kathryn Prescott. Will Ellie Kendrick, one of Game of Thrones' newest recruits, be returning in the role of Allison with two ls? Let's just say we wouldn't bet against a cameo...
