'Suits' season two adds 'New Girl' star Rachael Harris

New Girl's Rachael Harris has won a guest role on Suits.

A second season of the USA show - starring Gabriel Macht and Patrick J Adams - will begin shooting shortly in Canada.

Harris will appear in the third episode as a Harvard Law representative who causes problems for Louis (Rick Hoffman), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The actress, who appeared in 2009 film The Hangover, has previously played guest roles on Cougar Town and Modern Family.

She is also attached to an in-development CBS comedy pilot starring Bridesmaids actor Ben Falcone.

Margo Martindale (Justified, A Gifted Man) will also appear in the new season of Suits as a nurse, while Eric Close (Without a Trace) will also reprise his role as Travis Tanner.

The series is expected to return to USA in June. In the UK, Suits airs on Tuesdays at 9pm on Dave.

Michelle Bridges from The Biggest Loser Australia has revealed that she plans to host her own television show.

The 41-year-old personal trainer, who has been a regular on the weight loss reality show since 2007, said that she would like to use the series as a "platform" to help more people in an Oprah-style programme.

Bridges told the Herald Sun: "The Biggest Loser has given me a platform to fulfil my ambitions, to get my message across to as many people as possible.

"I'd love to think I can be a part of people's lives to help them get what they want."

Bridges said that she has learned a lot about helping people during her work on the show, saying: "I'm finding there are a lot of Australians out there very unhappy and a lot of them are on anti-depressants.

"[Weight gain] knocks your confidence. So often, The Biggest Loser contestants start to withdraw from life. They stay at home, and what do you do when you stay at home? You eat.

"It takes a very brave person to say, 'I really want to make a change because I'm not happy'."

Bridges has credited her husband with helping her "open up more", adding: "That maturity has allowed me to understand people better, how they tick."

The Biggest Loser airs at 6.30pm on Sundays and 7pm on weeknights on Channel Ten.

Lacey Turner (EastEnders, Being Human) will star in the series, which will follow four female flatmates who are secretly witches.

She is joined by Nina Toussaint-White (Doctor Who), Hannah Tointon (The Inbetweeners) and Phoebe Fox (Black Mirror).

Turner will play "immaculately dressed" careerist Stella, while Toussaint-White has been cast as "sexy and stylish" fashionista Jude.

The group's moral compass Grace will be played by Fox, with Tointon starring as the "restless" and "spontaneous" Hannah.

The 'Witches of Camden' must face the challenges of living in contemporary London, as well as their sworn enemies the 'Witches of Kensington', Alexa, India, Romola and Remy.

Switch has been written by Chloe Moss (Prisoners' Wives) and Tim Price (Secret Diary of a Call Girl).

"Switch is a contemporary series about friendship with a spell-binding twist," said ITV's Laura Mackie. "Chloe and Tim have created four fun-loving, free-spirited characters and we're delighted with the direction the series takes."

Produced by Being Human's Philip Trethowan and executive produced by Touchpaper's Rob Pursey, six 60-minute episodes of Switch will go into production in London, Cardiff and Bristol for 11 weeks from April 2012.

Classic BBC sitcom Yes, Prime Minister is being remade by UKTV's comedy channel Gold.

A new six-episode run of the series, written by the original creators, is being produced by BBC Productions and will feature modern day twists as it follows the day-to-day activities of hapless Rt Hon Jim Hacker.

The Prime Minister's new challenges will include leading a coalition government, European economic turmoil and a Scottish independence referendum.

Hacker's advisors Sir Humphrey Appleby and principal private secretary Bernard Woolley will also return.

In the 1980s original, the late Paul Eddington played Hacker, while Nigel Hawthorne starred as Appelby and Derek Fowlds as Woolley.

UKTV's director of commissioning, Jane Rogerson said: "The political landscape in Britain today is the perfect setting for Yes, Prime Minister to return. I'm thrilled that Gold has enticed Jonathan Lynn and Antony Jay to pen a brand new series, and can't wait to see this constitutional treasure back on screens across the country."

Steve North, Gold general manager, added, "Gold is making a great investment into iconic and original British programming and what better place to start than with the timely return of the nation's greatest satire: Yes, Prime Minister. I'm a huge fan of the original and it's a real treat to be able to bring this utterly brilliant series to a whole new generation."

BBC comedy head Mark Freeland said that the success of Yes, Prime Minister theatre tours had proved that the "iconic comedy has lost none of its satirical bite".

Written by Antony Jay and Jonathan Lynn, the original Yes Minister aired between 1980 and 1984. The sequel, Yes, Prime Minister, ran from 1986 to 1988.

Yes, Prime Minister was named the UK's sixth favourite sitcom of all time in 2004 and was famously rumoured to be the favourite TV show of ex-Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

Bridesmaids director Paul Feig is to produce a new series for Sky Atlantic.

Ronna & Beverly is a mock talkshow featuring two forthright, middle-aged Jewish American mothers as hosts.

The title characters are played by American writers and performers Jessica Chaffin and Jamie Denbo.

A pilot episode, featuring Mad Men star Jon Hamm and Episodes actor Stephen Mangan as guests, has already been filmed.

"British audiences responded to these overbearing American characters, and the show is Ab Fab meets everyone's obnoxious parents who ask horrifying questions," Feig told Deadline.

Feig previously created NBC's Freaks & Geeks and has worked as a producer and director on Nurse Jackie and The Office.

His US-based company Classy Productions will co-produce Ronna & Beverly with the UK's Hat Trick Productions.

Damian Lewis, Alastair Campbell to host 'Have I Got News For You'

Homeland star Damian Lewis and Tony Blair's former director of communications Alastair Campbell will be among the guest hosts in the new series of Have I Got News For You.

Have I Got News For You returns for its 43rd run on Friday, April 13 at 9pm. Paul Merton and Ian Hislop return again as the regular team captains.

Episodes and Dirk Gently comic Stephen Mangan will guest host the first of nine new episodes of the news quiz, which will feature guests Miles Jupp and journalist Grace Dent.

Campbell will make his first appearance as host in episode eight, while Jo Brand, Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson and Alexander Armstrong will all be making returns to present the show.

Lewis will make his fourth stint in the host's chair in episode three.

Have I Got News For You has used rotating guest presenters since 2002 when original host Angus Deayton left the programme.

David Walliams: 'Britain's Got Talent said no to Simon Cowell jokes'

David Walliams has revealed how Britain's Got Talent producers tried to stop him making jokes about Simon Cowell.

The comedian joined the panel alongside Cowell, Amanda Holden and fellow newcomer Alesha Dixon for the new series of the ITV1 talent competition, which kicked off last weekend.

"Simon is the King and I'm the court jester," Walliams told the new issue of Harper's Bazaar UK. "I asked the show's producers, 'Can I make jokes about Simon? About him being camp? About being friends with Sinitta? About his hair?' And they said, 'No, no, no'.

"Then the first act came on and said, 'My dream is to perform in front of the Queen', and I said, 'Well, he's right here - go ahead'."

Walliams admitted that he will reign himself in for the live shows, adding: "The innuendo-meter is definitely a problem. I'm going to have to have a second's delay in my brain."

The 40-year-old, who was photographed alongside supermodel Amber Anderson for the new issue, also discussed how he will work to counter-balance the "manic energy" he has from working on Britain's Got Talent.

"For me there's a kind of manic depression that happens where there's been a manic phase of creativity or performing," he said. "I mean, even just being in front of the audience of Britain's Got Talent, I do have this manic energy, and that has to be counter-balanced with something...That's just the way things are."
