Victor Garber will guest star in the new season of The Big C, it has been revealed.
The Emmy award-winning actor, known for appearing in James Cameron blockbuster Titanic, will play a man who causes trouble for Sean (John Benjamin Hickey) when an accidental phone call leads to a harassing situation.
Although it is not yet known whether Garber will appear in more than one episode, previous guest actors Hugh Dancy and Parker Posey took on multi-episode arcs in season two.
The Laura Linney sitcom, a comedy-drama centring around terminal cancer sufferer Cathy, will return for its third season on Sunday, April 8.
Cable network Showtime renewed the original series following continuing popularity for the show.
Meanwhile, More4 is currently screening its second season in the UK every Thursday night at 10pm.
Lead actress Linney recently claimed that The Big C, Showtime's highest-rated scripted show in nearly a decade, would not have been made five years ago.
