Jennifer Ellison's 2-year-old not allowed in 'Dancing on Ice' audience
Jennifer Ellison has spoken out against a Dancing on Ice rule change that prevents her son from seeing her in action.
The former Brookside actress revealed on Twitter that producers have decided children under 6 are no longer allowed to spectate - meaning that her 2-year-old son Bobby will be forced to stay at home.
"Just been told no under 6s allowed in Dancing on Ice audience! Bobbys got his t shirt and thumbs up all ready too! ;(," she wrote, attaching a picture of her child wearing a "vote for my mummy" T-shirt.
"Its a new rule from God at ITV!!! Think it probably coz of the child crying at the top of last weeks show xxx So sad...Absolutely gutted!!! My little man can't watch his mummy in the audience! Bit late in the day to change the rules if u ask me! X"
Ellison later claimed that the stipulation would have a knock-on effect for the rest of her family.
"Oh and to make things worse now my mum can't watch me perform as I have nobody else to leave him with!" she explained. "So no mum and no son in the audience!"
Throughout the night, Ellison has retweeted messages from more than 40 outraged followers.
The 28-year-old previously threatened to pull out of Dancing on Ice over her partner Daniel Whiston's hamstring injury.
Ellison has said before that she feels guilty leaving Bobby and her husband Robbie Tickle to do the show.
