'X-Men' star James Marsden 'wants more television roles'
James Marsden has revealed that he is keen to appear more on television.
The X-Men and Superman Returns actor will appear in the new season of 30 Rock as a love interest for Liz Lemon (Tina Fey).
Marsden told the Los Angeles Times: "[Working in TV is] definitely something I'm thinking about more and more these days, frankly, because it feels like there's just as much good work on TV as there is in film, if not more. And there are more great outlets.
"It just depends if I would find the right fit. I've never considered myself someone who would never consider it."
The actor added that he would accept a regular television role if the right project came along.
"If it's a great role, a great script, [and] has a great show runner - absolutely, I would," he said. "There are a lot of upsides to doing it. I'd be open to it."
Marsden - whose recent credits include 2009's The Box and 2011's Straw Dogs remake - admitted that he would love to appear on AMC drama Breaking Bad.
"That would be awesome," he confessed. "I'm game. I want to run all over the place."
The new season of 30 Rock begins on Thursday, January 12 at 8/7c on NBC.
