Leonard Nimoy 'to make Big Bang Theory cameo'
Leonard Nimoy has been linked with an appearance in The Big Bang Theory.
The Star Trek actor is to make a cameo in the March 29 episode of the CBS sitcom, according to TVLine.
Jim Parsons's character Sheldon has been seen to have an obsession with Nimoy in previous episodes of the show. Production insiders have claimed that Nimoy will speak to Sheldon in character as Spock, but will not be seen on screen.
Nimoy has specialised in voice work in recent years, lending his voice to the character of William Bell in Fringe and playing Sentinel Prime in Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
He will also perform as Sekhuru in animated movie Zambezia, which features an all-star cast including Samuel L Jackson, Abigail Breslin, Jeff Goldblum and Richard E Grant.
