'Torchwood' star Eve Myles: 'I want Sherlock role'
Torchwood star Eve Myles has said that she would love to appear in Sherlock.
The actress named the Benedict Cumberbatch-starring adaptation as her dream project, describing it as "really hot".
Asked if there were any other shows she would like a role on, the Welsh performer told Radio Times: "I also love Upstairs Downstairs. I am proud it gets made in Cardiff."
However, Myles reaffirmed that she is still having a "wonderful" time playing Gwen Cooper in Torchwood.
"She is a full-on action hero and I get to do all that fun stuff because I do all my own stunts," she said. "I get to save the world and be the girl next door. The mix is wonderful."
Myles has called for Torchwood to get another series so that fans can receive "closure".
