Contestants on ITV's Superstar have reportedly been hit with an alcohol ban for the remainder of the show.
The wannabe musical stars (with the exception of David Hunter, who is tee-total) had allegedly been over-indulging in after-show drinking, with some turning up to rehearsals the next day with hangovers.
A source told The Sun: "For a show about finding the new Jesus Christ Superstar, some of the behaviour has been distinctly un-godly.
"Some of them have been whingeing that they are being worked too hard on the nightly series and were hitting the bottle to relax, but this is not on."
The behaviour has reportedly resulted in Lord Webber implementing new rules, with the source confirming: "Alcohol has been banned for the rest of the series in a bid to get the boys to knuckle down.
"They love their beer and with them all living together they were getting into big drinking sessions."
A show insider also alleged that former Voice contestant Nathan James is getting a reputation as a backstage diva, claiming: "Nathan is a loud character backstage and has been vocal in his opinions and it hasn't gone down well with some of the production staff."
Nathan is currently 8/5 favourite to win with bookmakers, after John Moses and Jeff Anderson were eliminated from the show last night (July 20).
