Simon Cowell wants to do US and UK 'X Factor'
Simon Cowell has said that he is looking into ways he could work on the UK and US X Factor.
The Syco boss and millionaire TV mogul revealed that he is considering switching the dates of the ITV1 and Fox talent shows so he can return to the British series.
Speaking at a Q&A Shooting Star Chase charity event with 16-year-old interviewer Sian Tolfree, he said: "Do you know what, I'm going to see maybe if we can move the dates around so I can do both shows in the future because I miss it... and the other judges are not as good as me."
Cowell initially claimed in 2010 that he had a "little surprise" which would allow him to work on the UK and US series simultaneously, but it never materialised.
He also warned the X Factor judges that they would have to up their game this year because the Britain's Got Talent panel has found "better singers".
Commenting on his latest Got Talent revamp, Cowell added: "We had to come back, freshen it up, make it younger and we've found some really good people."
Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos are expected to return to The X Factor later this year, but Gary Barlow and Kelly Rowland's roles on the panel are still up in the air. Cheryl Cole ruled herself out of returning to the X Factor UK judging lineup yesterday.
