Who's signing up for the new series of Doctor Who now?
Filming - as you probably well know - is heavily underway on series 7 of the revived Doctor Who, and right now, episodes featuring new companion, Jenna-Louise Coleman, are before the cameras.
More details of one of those episodes appeared earlier in the week, too, courtesy of Doctor Who Magazine. For the first standalone episode for Coleman (outside of the Christmas special, which is yet to film) is being penned by Neil Cross. Cross previously wrote for Spooks, and created the terrific Luther.
Furthermore, a bit of casting news for said episode has appeared, too. Dougray Scott, he of Mission: Impossible II and Desperate Housewives fame (amongst many other credits) is the latest guest star. As always, his exact role remains under wraps for the time being.
In other casting news, it's also been revealed that Steven Berkoff is set to appear in the new series. He's scheduled to appear in the fourth episode of the new run, alongside Jemma Redgrave (Howards' End).
