Comic-Con tickets sell out in less than an hour
Tickets for Comic-Con International sold out yesterday less than an hour after going on sale.
The badges went on sale at 8am PST on Saturday and none were left by 9am.
The four-day passes for the event in San Diego were all gone within half an hour, with all the single passes sold within the following ten minutes, reports The Beat.
Customers were put in a queue, with warnings that attempts to refresh their browsers or open second windows would result in being put to the back of the line.
Last year's registration suffered three failed attempts in which their website crashed.
The successful sales process took seven hours, with ongoing difficulties forcing fans to spend the day repeatedly refreshing their browsers until they finally got through.
1,500 four-day passes were later returned last year after the announcement that Marvel Studios would not be making a presentation.
