'Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans charged with cyber-stalking boss

Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans has been charged with cyber-stalking her ex-employer.

A warrant was issued for the MTV reality star's arrest in North Carolina last Friday (March 2), but she voluntarily turned herself in to police on Monday (March 5), shortly after returning from filming a Teen Mom reunion show in New York.

Evans' lawyer Dustin Sullivan confirmed to Us Weekly that the charges were brought about by her former boss James Duffy, but also revealed that they are "the very same charge[s]" that she has already laid against him.

Sullivan said that there was "no jail time" for the charges, adding: "She was in and out in about 30 minutes. These are the first allegations by Duffy against her and these charges are completely retaliatory in nature and we will be prepared."

However, he did admit that if Evans is convicted, "it would violate her probation" after she was arrested twice in January for violating a domestic violence protection order.

"She is frustrated with this nonsense. Jenelle has been doing extremely well," Sullivan added.

Evans and Duffy are both due to appear in court on March 23.

Fellow Teen Mom star Amber Portwood recently managed to avoid prison time for drug possession by agreeing to complete a drug rehabilitation programme.
