Jason Akermanis axed from 'Celebrity Apprentice' Australia?
Jason Akermanis is believed to have been axed from Celebrity Apprentice.
The Australian Football League player, who was thought to have been taking part in the reality TV show alongside stars such as David Hasselhoff and Patti Newton, may have been cut from footage after his recent slurs against late sports star Jim Stynes.
According to The Daily Telegraph, a "sneak peak" promo clip of Celebrity Apprentice has been revealed which does not appear to feature Akermanis at all.
After allegedly being eliminated from the series in February, messages appeared on Ackermanis's Twitter account directed at Celebrity Apprentice boss Mark Bouris and fellow contestants Nathan Joliffe and Lauryn Eagle.
The message for Bouris said: "@markbouris I have a long memory mate. I hope I see you real soon," while the message directed at Joliffe and Eagle read: "I have a long memory! I don't forget easily. Good luck you will need it."
Akermanis also wrote on the social networking site that he "can't say either way for who won or lost" the programme, but promised "a cracking show".
Stynes passed away last month after a long battle with cancer. Akermanis caused controversy when he referred to Stynes as a "nasty" person, but he later said that he "apologise[s] wholeheartedly" for his "inappropriate words" and insisted that he only meant that Stynes was brutal on the pitch.
