'Sex and the City' costume designer Patricia Field styles 'Americana'
Ashley Greene has revealed that Sex and the City's Patricia Field is the costume designer for her ABC drama pilot Americana.
The Breaking Dawn actress stars in Americana as Alice Clarke, a young fashion designer who is seen as a threat to legendary designer Robert Soulter (Anthony LaPaglia).
When Greene was asked by Women's Wear Daily if she learned any fashion tricks on the set, Greene replied: "Pat Field is the costume designer and she took a vintage coat and turned it inside out and then belted it, which gave it a really vintage distressed look, which was great."
Field was the costume designer for ABC's Ugly Betty as well as movies Confessions of a Shopaholic and The Devil Wears Prada, for which she was nominated for 'Best Costume Design' at the Oscars in 2007.
Americana also features Emilie de Ravin, Natalie Mendoza, Ken Olin, Christine Adams, David Alpay, Tiffany Hines and Annabeth Gish.
Greene previously appeared in another ABC series Pan Am for three episodes.
