'Dancing on Ice' attracts more than 7 million on ITV1
Dancing on Ice grabbed more than 7m on ITV1 last night, according to overnight data.
The main show averaged 7.02m (27%) from 6.35pm with a further 222k (0.8%) tuning in on timeshift.
Dancing on Ice: The Skate Off took 5.77m (22.4%) later from 9.30pm (+1: 206k/1.3%). Wild at Heart aired in between with 6.08m (22.4%) .
Elsewhere, Channel 4's Homeland had virtually identical numbers week-on-week with 2.05m (7.8%) and 315k (1.7%) on timeshift. War Horse: The Real Story preceded it with 1.35m (4.8%) from 8pm (+1: 230k/0.9%).
The latest instalment of BBC One's Upstairs Downstairs averaged 5.01m (19.2%) from 9pm, with Countryfile and Antiques Roadshow taking 6.07m (23.4%) and 5.68m (20.3%) respectively.
BBC Two showed Top Gear (4.06m/14.5%) and Orbit: Earth's Extraordinary Journey (3.06m/11.7%).
Channel 5 aired movie The Da Vinci Code, which appealed to 1.51m (5.9%) from 6pm, before Ultimate Police Interceptors was watched by 725k (2.8%) from 9pm.
Overall, ITV1 took 22.2% (+1: 0.8%), winning primetime ahead of BBC One's 19.8%. BBC Two commanded 11.8% ahead of Channel 4's 5.3% (+1: 0.7%) and Channel 5's 4.5%.
On the multichannels, Being Human grabbed a combined 844k (3.2%) on BBC Three and BBC HD from 9pm, and Sky1's Got to Dance averaged 934k (3.9%) and 1.12m (4%) from 6pm and 7.50pm respectively.
