Make it stop: up to four more Kardashian TV shows in the pipeline
E! should just go and change its name to K!: the pay TV network's US boss has threatened to produce up to four more TV series about the Kardashian family.
The broadcaster's schedule is already dominated by Keeping Up with the Kardashians and its spin-offs Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, Kourtney and Kim Take New York and Khloe & Lamar — all about the vapid adventures of various Kardashian family members — but there's apparently still plenty of material.
E! boss Bonnie Hammer told the Hollywood Reporter she hopes there are "two, three, even four new Kardashian [spinoffs]," which might revolve around the Kardashian sisters' mother Kris Jenner and her two other daughters Kendall and Kylie, who technically aren't Kardashians.
(Kardashian brother Kob — er, Rob is also an aspiring TV star. He recently appeared on the US Dancing with the Stars.)
If you think your TV can't handle any more Kardashians, Hammer said she thinks the franchise "will have its own life expectancy". Translation: E! will keeping pumping out TV shows about the family till they run them into the ground.
Hammer also added that Kim's recent marriage and quickie divorce was not a stunt.
