'Fear Factor' (8PM ET, NBC) season premiere

Meanwhile, Ellie and Awesome's date night takes a dangerous turn and Morgan is sent on a special mission to recover Chuck's P.A.N.T.S.
'The Life and Times of Tim' (9PM ET, HBO) season premiere
Tim is a twentysomething New Yorker trying to get ahead at work while keeping his girlfriend Amy happy and living a "normal" life. However, in Tim's world, his often peculiar choices leave him in outlandish, surprising situations. In this third season, Tim's habit of befriending bizarre and unusual personalities in New York City continues to put him in dangerously funny circumstances.
'Remains' (10PM ET, Chiller) original telefilm
Based on the IDW Publishing graphic novel written by Steve Niles and illustrated by Kieron Dwyer, 'Remains' is set in a chilling post-apocalyptic Reno, Nevada, and follows the survivors of a bizarre accident that reduced most of the world's population to zombies. The group takes refuge in a vacant casino and fights a losing battle against the undead, who grow steadily stronger, smarter and more aggressive by the minute. The movie stars Grant Bowler, Lance Reddick, Miko Hughes and Tawny Cypress.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 17
'Method to the Madness of Jerry Lewis' (8PM ET, Encore) special presentation
This special takes a contemporary look at a true living legend through in-depth and candid interviews with Jerry Lewis, never-before-seen film footage, and contributions from some of Hollywood's biggest names: Alec Baldwin, Chevy Chase, Eddie Murphy, Carl Reiner, Quentin Tarantino and more. Director/Producer Gregg Barson is the only filmmaker to be granted unlimited behind-the-scenes access to Jerry Lewis, resulting in unfiltered reflection on an 80-year career in show business.
