'Parks and Rec' Nick Offerman teases "juicy" Tammy Two storyline

'Parks and Rec' Nick Offerman teases "juicy" Tammy Two storyline

Nick Offerman has revealed that Megan Mullally will return to Parks and Recreation next season.

The actor, who plays Ron Swanson on the NBC comedy, announced that real-life wife Mullally will reprise her role as Ron's ex-wife Tammy Two on an upcoming episode airing in the fall.

"I know that there's one juicy story coming up in the fall for Tammy Two, the evil Tammy Two," Offerman told MTV News.

Ron's first wife, Tammy One, was played by Patricia Clarkson, who later admitted that she found the role intimidating as she is a big fan of the show.

Offerman and Mullally can next be seen together in Gay Dude, a comedy which centres on two boys named Michael and Matty who promise each other they will have sex before their senior prom.

Offerman has said that he enjoys making himself look unattractive on-screen as he believes that there is "always room for freaks" in showbiz.

John Cryer Talks Ashton Kutcher Vs. Charlie Sheen On 'Two And A Half Men'

John Cryer Talks Ashton Kutcher Vs. Charlie Sheen On 'Two And A Half Men'

"Two And A Half Men" star John Cryer definitely feels a difference on set since Ashton Kutcher replaced the hit sitcom's former star Charlie Sheen.

On the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday night, he told E! that Kutcher is "great. He's a clown. He is up for anything, willing to do anything... a great, great spirit."

When E! host Giulianna Rancic asked if things felt differently on set in this post-Sheen era, Cryer -- who was nominated for his first SAG award -- took a bit of a jab at his former co-star. "It's a little less suspenseful being on the set nowadays," he said with a laugh. "When you come into work, you're pretty sure [Kutcher's] going to be there. And nobody's pushed his car off a cliff or anything like that"

As for Sheen, who is currently working on his FX series "Anger Management," Cryer said, "I haven't spoken with him though. I wish him well. He's got a good team around him and I can't imagine he's not going to put out a good show."

How the director of Drive was turned down by Doctor Who

How the director of Drive was turned down by Doctor Who

Nicolas Winding Refn might have directed one of the most acclaimed films of 2011. But he still couldn't get a job directing Doctor Who...

Much of the chatter surrounding the movie Drive this week has been its sadly predictable snubbing in the Oscar nominations. Whilst lesser films are getting their day out in posh clothes, a film that’s topped many, many people’s best of 2011 lists (including ours) has been all but ignored.

No matter: you suspect Drive will live on a lot longer than Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close. But in the midst of the furore this week, a new interview with Drive director Nicholas Winding Refn has appeared. And in it, he’s got a rather surprising Doctor Who fact.

Chatting to Shortlist magazine, the director revealed that “I would have loved to direct Doctor Who but they didn’t want me — they turned me down last year. Maybe if they revive Blake’s 7 I could do that. I love it. It’s great. That could be fun to update.”

Blimey.

Might we have had Ryan Gosling as the Doctor crushing the head of a Dalek? It’s another one of those things that was clearly never meant to be.

Academy Award Winner Cuba Gooding Jr. Stars in Hallmark Hall of Fame's "Firelight" for ABC

Academy Award Winner Cuba Gooding Jr. Stars in Hallmark Hall of Fame's "Firelight" for ABC

Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr. ("Jerry Maguire," "Radio") stars in a new Hallmark Hall of Fame film, "Firelight," premiering SUNDAY, APRIL 22 (9:00-11:00, ET) on the ABC Television Network. Darnell Martin (Hallmark Hall of Fame's "Lost Valentine") directs from a script by Ligiah Villalobos ("Under the Same Moon").

Cuba Gooding Jr. plays Dwayne Johnson ("DJ"), a counselor at a youth correctional facility. The incarcerated girls and young women come from troubled - often violent -- backgrounds. Many of them belong to gangs and have been involved with illegal drugs - as users and/or dealers. In the words of DJ, "They come in [here] so broken... These are girls who've been abused and objectified their whole lives."

Salvation for many of the young women comes when they join an elite band of volunteers who battle forest fires, build hiking trails in remote areas and assist during natural disasters. The volunteers have to survive several weeks of rigorous training, they have to be in peak physical condition and have to learn how to work as a team, often in life-threatening situations.

DJ explains that he developed the volunteer force "because I wanted to change the way these girls see themselves. To feel strong. To see other people respecting their strength." In the words of Cuba Gooding Jr., "These women fought to save lives. They ended up saving their own."

The team leader is Terry Easle, played by DeWanda Wise. Keisha Daniels (Yakina Horn) is another key member. Both are hoping Caroline Magabo (Q'Orianka Kilcher) will join the elite group, although she has considerable hurdles to overcome; she has a propensity for getting into trouble, which for a long time precludes her signing up.

'Naked News' to Become Steamy Canadian Docu-Soap

'Naked News' to Become Steamy Canadian Docu-Soap

Nothing to hide: Canadian producer AllScreen Entertainment plans an unscripted series about Toronto female anchors who disrobe while delivering the news.

Canadian TV is gearing up for a stripped down docu-soap.

Indie producer AllScreen Entertainment has pacted with the Naked News service to create a unscripted series about real-life female TV anchors who disrobe while delivering the news.

The proposed show, The Naked Truth: The Naked News Uncovered, is being shopped at the Realscreen Summit in Washington, D.C.

Naked News first launched in Toronto in 1999 with women stripping on air as they presented the news.

The nude news service, produced in Toronto, is currently available internationally via pay-per-view TV, or on the Nakednews.com website.

“It’s a quirky, one-of-a-kind workplace that is the ultimate setting for a funny, sexy and probably surreal series,” AllScreen co-founder Allan Novak said Sunday.

'Fear Factor' Donkey Semen Episode Off the NBC Schedule

'Fear Factor' Donkey Semen Episode Off the NBC Schedule

Donkey semen will not be served on network TV tomorrow night -- the"Fear Factor" episode featuring the stunt has been yanked ... at least according to a website where NBC posts its media releases.

The controversial episode is entitled, "Hee Haw! Hee Haw!" An NBC media release teased it by saying the contestants will eat "the unimaginable."

But the NBC website no longer lists that episode as airing tomorrow ... and instead lists a repeat of an episode entitled "Snake Bite" -- which first aired on January 2.

We also checked two channel guides -- one in LA and one in NYC -- and both now list the repeat instead of the one with the donkey semen stunt. Additionally, promos for the episode are no longer posted anywhere on the Internet.

NBC had given 'FF' producers the thumbs up on airing the episode -- but according to our sources honchos at NBC and its parent company, Comcast, started having second thoughts after we published details of the challenge.

We've made several calls to reps at NBC, Comcast, and Endemol -- which produces 'FF' -- but so far ... radio silence.

Kim Kardashian Stranger Danger at Home ... Cops Called

Kim Kardashian Stranger Danger at Home ... Cops Called

Kim Kardashian called police to her home in Beverly Hills when a stranger showed up at her gate with luggage ... saying he intended to stay at Kim's home -- TMZ has learned.

According to sources close to Kim ... the man showed up late last night. We're told he buzzed the intercom at her security gate and claimed Kim had flown him into town to stay with her -- and that he was supposed to be working on her reality show.

We're told Kim got freaked out when the man refused to leave and a member of her security detail alerted police.

It's unclear at this point if the man was booked for a crime.

Corey Feldman voted out of 'Dancing on Ice'

Corey Feldman voted out of 'Dancing on Ice'

Corey Feldman has become the fourth celebrity to leave Dancing on Ice.

The Hollywood actor and professional partner Brooke Castile were eliminated following a skate-off with Charlene Tilton.

The two stars faced the public vote alongside Jorgie Porter, Sam Nixon, Jennifer Ellison and Andy Whyment after all six were defeated in this week's battle twist.

Feldman was beaten in a duel by Chemmy Alcott, while Tilton lost out to Heidi Range. Chico, Sebastien Foucan, Matthew Wolfenden and Rosemary Conley were the others to win immunity.

In the judges' vote, Katarina Witt praised the Stand By Me star for having given his "best performance yet", before turning to Tilton and saying: "I don't think it's goodbye yet, 'cause I want to see Charlene kick ice next week."

Cousins agreed that Feldman had skated better than ever tonight, so much so that he chose to eliminate the Dallas actress for being less "controlled".

The deciding vote came down to Spence, who again complimented Feldman's progress, but ultimately chose to save his "blonde bombshell" Tilton.

Speaking to hosts Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley afterwards, Feldman gushed: "It's been a lot of fun. It's been a tremendous experience and of course I love London, so any excuse to vacation here."

Dancing on Ice continues with a 'pop' special next Sunday (February 5) at 6.25pm on ITV1.

'The Big Breakfast' to return for London 2012 Olympics?

'The Big Breakfast' to return for London 2012 Olympics?

The Big Breakfast will return to TV in time for the Olympics, it has been reported.

The morning show will air on Channel 4 or Channel 5 and producers have secured permission to use the old Big Breakfast house close to the Olympics site in East London, according to the Sunday Mirror.

"The aim is to be as good as the original - full of fun and frolics," a source told the paper.

The revived show will apparently include popular features from the past such as Vital Statistics, More Tea, Vicar and The Pun Down.

The Big Breakfast could become a permanent fixture on TV if it is a ratings success, as bosses hope to lure viewers away from ITV's struggling Daybreak.

Amanda Byram and other former presenters have been tipped to front the show, although Chris Evans and Denise van Outen are unlikely to make a comeback.

"There's a big gap in the market," Byram said.

The Big Breakfast last aired in 2002 after almost a decade on our screens. It was replaced by short-lived morning show RI:SE.

SAG Awards: Mary Tyler Moore Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Dick Van Dyke presents the Lifetime Achievement Award to his former "Dick Van Dyke Show" co-star Mary Tyler Moore, delivering a heartfelt speech citing her screen work and humanitarian work. Moore received a standing ovation from the crowd.

Moore began her speech by recalling how she had to alter her name from "Mary Moore" due to multiple listings of the same name in the SAG rosters.

"After all these years, I, too, am happy after all," Moore said while wrapping up her speech.

After the speech, Dick Van Dyke gave her a peck on the cheek.

"I think they made a terrible mistake," White joked, before saying that the nomination belongs to all four female leads on the series.

Rainn Wilson on his Potential 'Office' Spin-Off: 'It's Even More Far Out and Weirder'

Rainn Wilson on his Potential 'Office' Spin-Off: 'It's Even More Far Out and Weirder'

The actor who plays Dwight Schrute reveals his idea the proposed series, which would be set on a farm, during a red carpet interview at the SAG Awards.

Rainn Wilson was forced to address reports of his Office spin-off at the SAG Awards Sunday.

After quipping that "spin-offs never work," particularly "with a character as annoying as Dwight [Schrute]," the actor confirmed that it is indeed an idea he is discussing.

"It could be really cool because It would be on his farm, which would be a bed & breakfast, and it would have a crazy menagerie of characters," he told E!'s Giuliana Rancic on the red carpet, adding: "It would be even more far out and weirder than The Office... it's a good idea."

The concept could get a test of sorts on an episode of The Office later this season. Wilson, along with actor/showrunner Paul Lieberstein and executive producer Ben Silverman, are believed to be involved, though the actor suggested the spin-off is just an idea being "mulled over" at this point.

The conversations come months after the long-running NBC comedy was forced to undergo a significant casting change in the wake of Steve Carell’s departure. The series came back in September with new hire James Spader and Ed Helm’s Andy Bernard assuming the role of regional manager.
