After 25 years of celebrities and newsmakers coming to The Oprah Winfrey Show, Oprah Winfrey will now go to them.
Premiering Sunday, Jan. 1 at 9/8c on OWN, Oprah's Next Chapter will see the prolific host venturing out in the field to conduct in-depth interviews and hold thought-provoking conversations.
"After 25 years I got myself out of the studio chairs. I moved into the next chapter, and I am having more fun than ever -- moving around the country and the world talking to people I'm really interested in getting to know and I think viewers will be, too," Winfrey said in a statement. "It is so energizing to be out and about in the world exploring new people, new places and new ideas."

For me the Verdict still isn't out after 3 episodes, kinda like it, but still isn't Family Guy or South Park, I am afraid it won't last to long.

Here are my top picks from the new shows from the Fall 2011 TV season, I think these have been the best so far. These ofcourse do not include returning shows.
Homeland
Centers on Marine Sergeant Scott Brody, who returns home eight years after going missing in Iraq, and Carrie Anderson, a driven CIA officer who suspects he might be plotting an attack on America.

Father Ben Harmon (Dylan McDermott) is trying to deal with his wife's rejection after he has an affair with a student, and soon falls under the house's sway. Meanwhile, wife Vivien (Connie Britton) must not only try to forgive her husband but deal with the aftereffects of a miscarriage. Daughter Violet (Taissa Farmiga) is confronted with hostile girls at her new school and befriends her father's disturbed teenage patient, Tate Langdon (Evan Peters). And lurking nearby is neighbor Constance (Jessica Lange), a former actress who both hates and is oddly protective of her special-needs daughter Adelaide (Jamie Brewer), who can sense the house's evil.

2 Broke Girls is a comedy which follows two young women Caroline (Beth Behrs) and Max (Kat Dennings) and their job at a greasy spoon diner. While working together, they strike up an unlikely friendship with hopes of starting up a successful business. However, there is one problem, they don't have any money. The two women come from two different worlds. For one, Max has to work two jobs just to make ends meet and for the other, Caroline is a sophisticated uptown trust fund princess who is now forced to give working as a waitress a shot after and "run of bad luck". Max sees Caroline as a waste of space until Caroline finds that Max loves to bake cupcakes and she sees a possible business.

Together they have to get to Terra Nova. Once there, Josh is instantly attracted to Skye (Allison Miller), a "bad girl" of sorts. They meet Commander Nathaniel Taylor (Stephen Lang) there and he informs them that they have a fresh start on Terra Nova. However, a group of renegades led by Mira (Christine Adams) are a serious threat.

Grimm is about the fairy tales that you have heard before bedtime comes to life when Detective Nick Burhardt (David Giuntoli ) thought that moving to Portland, Oregon was a good idea. It was until he started seeing things he couldn't explain such as normal beautiful women turning into hags or a normal man turning into a troll. Nick goes to his relative in the hospital who tells him that he has the Grimm, a supernatural power that is able to see the creatures in real life. With his partner Lt. Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby) the pair track down a killer in a "Little Red Riding Hood" tale.

Once Upon a Time revolves around Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison), a 28-year-old bail bonds collector that has been supporting herself from when she was abandoned as a baby. Things change for her when her son Henry (Jared Gilmore), who she abandoned years ago and gave him up, finds her and tells that he needs her help. He tells that she is really from a different world where she is really Snow White's (Ginnifer Goodwin) missing daughter. He shows that in the fairytale books, Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) and Snow White sent her away to protect her. The Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) cast a spell that trapped the fairytale world. Emma doesn't believe them and take Henry back to Storybrooke. Once in the little town, she is strangely drawn to him and the town of Storybrooke. She is concerned and starts to see that Storybrooke is not what it seems. The longer she stays in the town, the more she suspects that the members of the town are not who they say they are. Even though the townspeople don't remember that they too were part of the fairytale, including Henry's foster mother who was once the Evil Queen, they slowly start to realize who they once were. The battle commences and if Emma wants to win, she is going to have to embrace who she once was and can be again. From the Creators of Lost, Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz have outdone themselves with a fairytale type story that comes in real life.
