TLC Brings Drama To Boston In 'Southie Pride', will it be the souths Jersey Shore?

TLC Brings Drama To Boston In 'Southie Pride', will it be the souths Jersey Shore?

Is "Jersey Shore" headed to South Boston? Well, kind of. 495 Productions, the same production company that brought us the greatness of "Jersey Shore," is producing a new series for TLC, one that will take viewers into the tight-knit community of South Boston.

The reality series, which is currently under the working title "Southie Pride, will go inside the homes of five South Boston -- or Southie as they're otherwise known -- women as they struggle to make a life for their families and protect the people they love the most.

495 Productions is currently casting, but they did make it to South Boston this past weekend just in time for the town to suffer through a devastating Super Bowl loss by the Patriots.

“Spend some time with the women of South Boston and you quickly learn that pride runs deep, family comes first, and that their friendships and rivalries are forever,” said SallyAnn Salsano, President of 495 Productions, in a statement. “And, their accents are wicked awesome.”

TLC has ordered eight episodes, and the series is scheduled to premiere this Fall. Sadly, Mark Wahlberg is not attached to the project.

Gillian Anderson confirmed in lead role of Allan Cubitt’s new BBC Two drama series The Fall

Gillian Anderson confirmed in lead role of Allan Cubitt’s new BBC Two drama series The Fall

The Fall is a gripping psychological thriller that forensically examines the lives of two hunters. One is a serial killer who stalks his victims at random in and around Belfast and the other is a talented female Detective Superintendent on secondment from the MET who is brought in to catch him.

Gillian Anderson stars as DSI Gibson, who arrives to conduct a 28 day review at a Belfast station where the police are getting nowhere on a high profile murder case.

Further casting will be announced soon, with filming starting in Belfast next month.

Allan Cubitt says: “When I think of the really great television drama from my formative years I think first and foremost of their writers. I applaud wholeheartedly Artists Studio’s attempt – with the support of the BBC – to put the writer back at the heart – and head – of British TV drama.”

Ben Stephenson, Controller, BBC Drama Commissioning, says: “The Fall is a unique, forensic and characterful take on a classic genre that continues BBC Two’s commitment to original British drama in 2012. Cubitt’s rich and complex psychological thriller combined with another compelling performance from Gillian Anderson will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.”

Artists Studio, set up by former BOX TV alumni; Justin Thomson-Glover, Gub Neal and Patrick Irwin. Gub Neal and Julian Stevens will produce with Allan Cubitt, Justin Thomson-Glover and Patrick Irwin acting as executive producers. Neal and Cubitt both won Primetime Emmy’s for their work on Prime Suspect 2 and 5.

Gub Neal says: “We are delighted to be working with Allan, he is a fantastic writer and handles the subject matter with extraordinary sensitivity and intelligence.”

Julian Stevens says: “The development of this project has been a joy ever since the first meeting with the BBC in Belfast and I am excited to be cutting my producing teeth on such an ambitious project.”

The series was commissioned by Janice Hadlow, Controller, BBC Two and Ben Stephenson, Controller of Drama Commissioning, and will be executive produced by Stephen Wright through BBC Northern Ireland. With funding from Northern Ireland Screen supported by Invest NI and part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

This commission continues to demonstrate BBC Two’s commitment to original British drama in 2012. It will join a raft of new dramas on the channel this year including Paula Milne’s White Heat, Jed Mercurio’s Line Of Duty, Sir Tom Stoppard’s Parade’s End, a second series of The Hour and a major new cycle of Shakespeare’s four most acclaimed historical works as part of a season based on the Bard’s life and works.

'Glee' cast to cover The Wanted's 'Glad You Came'

The cast of Glee will cover one of The Wanted's biggest hits in an upcoming episode.

The boyband have revealed that their single 'Glad You Came' will feature on a future episode of the hit US musical drama.

Speaking about the news, band member Jay McGuiness told Capital FM: "Glee is just as big in the UK, so when we heard, we were just like, 'What's going on boys?'"

'Glad You Came' reached number one on the UK chart last summer and is currently number 40 on the US Hot 100.

The Wanted are coming to the end of their US tour and will perform in San Diego on February 7 and Hollywood on February 8 before returning to the UK for their 'The Code' arena shows.

The five-piece recently admitted they were "speechless" at their popularity in North America, after a number of their gigs sold out.

The Super Bowl 2012 Half Time Show Complete

The Super Bowl 2012 Half Time Show Complete

There was exactly one provocative moment during Madonna's Super Bowl halftime show -- and it didn't come courtesy of Madonna.

Instead, it was from British rapper M.I.A., whose middle finger during a guest appearance prompted an apology from NBC. The musical provocateur flipped the bird before the network could catch it, the network said.

M.I.A., like the early Madonna, seems fond of controversy. She has defended the Tamil Tiger rebels in Sri Lanka, where she grew up, though others have denounced them as terrorists. Her 2010 video for the single "Born Free" tried to raise awareness of genocide by imagining a world where redheads are captured and killed.

The only people Madonna was likely to offend Sunday were those who heard her wrong. At one point during "Music," her second song, it sounded like might have said the word "cock." (At least, it sounded that way to those of us who used to think "Scuze me while I kiss this guy" was a line in "Purple Haze.")

A fast rewind confirmed she didn't say the word -- or any others that might get anyone angry. She stuck to the lyrics of "Music," including the line: "Don't think of yesterday and I don't look at the clock."

Yes, clock. She delivered the "ock" part of the word with her typically crisp elocuction.

And that was as close as she got to doing anything nefarious during the halftime show. Her cartwheels briefly revealed the elaborate undergarment under her black skirt, but it was no more revealing than the cheerleading routines she was tweaking. Her tight top left zero risk of a Janet Jackson-like wardrobe malfunction -- and she promised last week that there wouldn't be one.

The show would have gone according to her ambitious plans, without violating the delicate sensibilities of anyone at home. If not for M.I.A.'s gesture.

Madonna was led to the stage by musclebound men dressed like Trojans, wore a Nordic-looking headdress, and also shared the stage with LMFAO, Nicki Minaj (pictured) and, in a nice promotional tie-in for NBC, Cee Lo Green. He's one of the judges on "The Voice," the season 2 premiere of which got the catseat slot right after the game.

Twitter responses were fiercely split, but it's hard to imagine what she could have done differently to win over the non-fans. If you like Madonna, chances are you liked her wild, genre-twisting performance. If you don't, you probably didn't.

There was no arguing with her song selection, including her new "Give Me All Your Luvin" and "Like a Prayer," which featured the obligatory marching band and choir.

Steven Moffat teases Doctor Who series 7

Steven Moffat teases Doctor Who series 7

Doctor Who is set to go before the cameras again this month. And Steven Moffat has given a small hint as to what's in store...

Filming is set to start this month on the seventh series of Doctor Who since its 2005 revival, with Matt Smith reprising his role as the Doctor.

Steven Moffat has also teased one or two more details about the series, and, if you don’t want to know anything about them, you should look away now.

Over in Australia at the moment, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra is performing the Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular. And Mr Moffat has written a few words in the programme for the performance.

Specifically, he had this to say about what we can expect from series 7…

“Doctor Who's 50th anniversary is coming. In Cardiff, we're gearing up for the biggest, the best and the most ambitious season we've ever made. There will be shocks, surprises and heartbreak - the Doctor is about to say goodbye to his very best friends, Amy and Rory.

And then he's about to say hello to someone very different - the Doctor is going to meet someone very new in the very last place he could ever have expected...”

Sounds intriguing, although that’s all we’re getting for the time being.

ABC orders Portia de Rossi comedy pilot 'The Smart One'

ABC has picked up a new comedy pilot starring Portia de Rossi.

The Smart One focuses on a clever and successful woman (de Rossi) who unhappily begins working for her sister, who is not as intelligent but is more popular.

The sister, a former beauty queen, ends up being elected as a mayor.

De Rossi previously starred as Lindsay in Arrested Development. Her other credits include parts in Ally McBeal, Nip/Tuck and Better Off Ted.

The Smart One has been written by Donald Todd, who has worked on shows such as Ugly Betty, Samantha Who? and Hart of Dixie. It is being executive produced by de Rossi's wife Ellen DeGeneres.

Other pilots currently in the works at ABC include Last Resort, a drama about the crew of a nuclear submarine starring Andre Braugher and Daniel Lissing; a comedy starring Reba McEntire; Judy Greer project American Judy; and Devious Maids, a new show from the creator of Desperate Housewives.

Simon Cowell still wants Cheryl Cole on 'The X Factor'

Simon Cowell still wants Cheryl Cole on 'The X Factor'

Simon Cowell is reportedly still pursuing Cheryl Cole with an offer to return to The X Factor.

The 'Promise This' singer quit the ITV reality show last year in response to Cowell axing her from The X Factor USA mere days after she started.

The pair are believed to have made up since and the Syco boss claimed last month that Cole "misses" working on The X Factor.

However, her mentor will.i.am later stated that the 28-year-old would never return to the panel.

"Cheryl is part of The X Factor family," a source close to Cowell told The Mirror. "Formal discussions have yet to take place but if she wants to come back she would be welcomed with open arms."

An ITV insider added: "We'd welcome her with open arms. She was hugely popular and she's totally gorgeous. We'd love to have her back."

Cole is rumoured to be debuting the lead single from her upcoming third album on rival talent show The Voice UK, on which will.i.am is a coach.

The Black Eyed Peas star said at the weekend that he was hoping to "p*ss off" Cowell by securing her appearance on the BBC contest.

'Being Human' Lenora Crichlow: 'Twist was heartbreaking'

'Being Human' Lenora Crichlow: 'Twist was heartbreaking'

Being Human star Lenora Crichlow has admitted that filming Russell Tovey's final scenes for the show was "absolutely horrendous".

Tovey's character George, a series regular since the show's 2008 pilot, was killed off in last night's series four premiere 'Eve of the War'.

"I don't think I've cried so much on set ever in my life," Crichlow told BBC Newsbeat. "Obviously Russell was the original from the pilot stage and I don't think there was a dry eye in the house."

The actress described the final scenes featuring George, written by series creator Toby Whithouse, as "heartbreaking".

"We cried a lot," she admitted. "Michael [Socha] and I shot the scene with him where he passes over, and it was fully charged."

Crichlow added that her character Annie and Socha's Tom will be "grief-stricken" in the episodes that follow.

"They're... a bit lost, a bit devastated," she explained.

Being Human continues this Sunday at 9pm on BBC Three.

David Beckham boosts 'Jonathan Ross Show' to 4m

David Beckham boosts 'Jonathan Ross Show' to 4m

An interview with David Beckham boosted The Jonathan Ross Show to 3.92m (16%) yesterday, a marked improvement on last week's 2.47m.

A further 402k (1.9%) chose to watch the ITV1 show on timeshift in what has been a controversial week for the chatshow host, who apparently offended Tom Hardy during taping this week.

Earlier on ITV1, Harry Hill's TV Burp tickled 5.42m, grabbing a 22.4% audience share (+1: 252k, 1%). Another edition of Take Me Out appealed to 4.97m (20.2%) and an extra 258k (1%) on +1.

On BBC One, The Magicians conjured 4.97m (20.5%), Casualty took 5.7m (22.9%) at 8.40pm and Mrs Brown's Boys entertained 6.32m (25.6%) in the 9.30pm slot.

BBC Two's Versailles: The Dream of a King scored 1.73m (7%), and a showing of Brighton Rock, the film adaptation of Graham Greene's classic novel, drummed up 1.21m (5.2%).

The Million Pound Drop Live thrilled 1.38m (5.8%) on Channel 4, with 170k (0.9%) opting to watch an hour later. The Full Monty was screened to an audience of 1m (7%) at 10.30pm (+1: 168k, 2.2%).

A double bill of NCIS on Channel 5 nabbed 1.27m (5.2%) and 1.55m (6.2%) from 7.30pm, and CSI: NY increased the audience to 1.82m (7.7%) at 9.30pm.

BBC One won an easy primetime victory on 23.1%, followed by ITV1 on 16.8%. BBC Two, Channel 5 and Channel 4 followed with 6.8%, 5.9% and 5.1% respectively.

'Being Human': 'Eve of the War'

'Being Human': 'Eve of the War'

This Week... George (Russell Tovey) is a shell of his former self, Tom (Michael Socha) is looking for a new home and Annie (Lenora Crichlow) is struggling to hold it all together. Meanwhile, a new band of vampires plot a terrible revenge and the three friends face the end of their life together...

The Bad Moon Arising... Of all the places we expected 'Eve of the War' to pick up, a devastated future London wasn't one of them! Kicking off series four with a flash-forward to a world ruled by bloodthirsty vampire hordes is a bold choice - it immediately raises so many fascinating questions and puts Being Human on a far grander scale than we've ever seen before.

Soon enough, we're back to the present day and familiar faces - Tom McNair is doing his best to lead a normal life by working in a local café, while a traumatised George has locked himself away inside Honolulu Heights, with his unnamed baby daughter and a frantic Annie his only company.

Series three of Being Human ended on a grim note and, initially at least, we're on similar territory here - poor Nina (Sinead Keenan) has been beaten to death by vicious vamps off-screen and George has been driven half-mad by grief. Russell Tovey is excellent as the shell-shocked werewolf and knowing that he's leaving the show lends his scenes a chilling air - the viewer waits in trepidation throughout, fearing that something terrible might happen to poor George.

Ultimately, tragically, TV's geekiest werewolf does meet his maker. This writer initially felt a little queasy at the notion of such a loveable figure meeting such a violent and unpleasant demise, particularly given that his heroic sacrifice to save his infant child is undermined by our glimpses of the future, which indicate that Eve may not be the saviour everyone expects her to be. Still, the final scenes with ghost George are lovely - Tovey once again on top form. Rest in peace, George Sands.

While it's a shame to see Tovey go, we've got a feeling that Being Human is in safe hands. Lenora Crichlow excelled at the end of last year and she delivers another knockout performance here, as Annie digs deep and finds an inner strength she never knew she possessed.

Michael Socha also impressed in series three, but he really comes into his own in 'Eve of the War' and fully justifies his recent promotion to full-time cast member. He's adept at drama, but can also dish out the laughs - see Tom rather unsubtly trying to blag a room at the B&B.

And what of the dark side? Killing off Herrick (Jason Watkins) was an unfortunate necessity given Aidan Turner's departure, but it's a shame that Lee Ingleby couldn't be tempted back to reprise his role as Wyndham. Instead, we meet - and bid farewell to - new vampire boss Griffin (Alex Jennings), who, with his policeman guise and dark humour, comes off as a cut-price Herrick.

Still, the vicious Fergus and creepy Cutler ("Oh my God, that - is - human - skin!") are proof that Being Human can still produce memorable vampire villains, and Mark Williams is also fun as sympathetic blood-sucker Regus - we're intrigued to see where his character is headed...

Ultimately, 'Eve of the War' has to be considered a triumph. This episode has a lot to do - wrap up the loose threads of series three, set up the premise and villains of series four, write out George and Nina, and reintroduce Tom.

At times, it all feels a bit much and regrettably the introduction of Hal (Damien Molony) gets a bit lost in the mad maelstrom of storylines. Perhaps the character would have been better served if his debut had been held off until episode two? But Toby Whithouse faced a very difficult task and, for the most part, he's pulled it off with wit and style.

Emotions run high, the cast (old and new) are fantastic and there's a pleasing dollop of humour to balance out the darkness. Most importantly, the episode dispels the fear that the departure of Turner, Tovey et al. would spell the end for Being Human - far from it. Like Annie says, this is how it begins...

Carmen Electra confirmed as 'Britain's Got Talent' guest judge

Carmen Electra confirmed as 'Britain's Got Talent' guest judge

Carmen Electra has been confirmed to guest judge Britain's Got Talent.

The Baywatch actress will be joining Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon at auditions in London today (February 6).

The 39-year-old is to be a temporary replacement for Amanda Holden, who is recovering at home following the traumatic birth of her daughter Hollie on January 23.

Holden was said to be "fighting for life" after losing blood and requiring a number of transfusions in the wake of an emergency caesarean.

She is believed to have told Britain's Got Talent producers not to replace her with any more guest judges and will reportedly rejoin the panel in Edinburgh on February 11.

NBC Apologizes For M.I.A. Giving the Finger at Halftime

NBC Apologizes For M.I.A. Giving the Finger at Halftime

As Super Bowl embarrassments go, it wasn't all that.

Nonetheless, NBC issued an apology for the single extended middle finger by guest singer M.I.A. at the halftime show.

"We apologize for the inappropriate gesture that aired during halftime," NBC spokesman Christopher McCloskey said. "It was a spontaneous gesture that our delay system caught late."

The gesture, accompanied by a barely disguised expletive, came during a performance of Madonna's new single, "Give Me All Your Luvin."' At the end of her lines, M.I.A. appeared to sing "I don't give a (expletive)," although it was hard to hear clearly.

The sudden shock incident brought to mind Janet Jackson's infamous "wardrobe malfunction" eight years ago, but as opposed to the flashing of Janet Jackson's nipple during the 2004 halftime show, this hardly caused a ripple.

Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction" raised a storm of controversy and put CBS in hot water with the Federal Communications Commission.

The screen briefly blurred after M.I.A.'s gesture in what was an apparent late attempt to cut out the shot. The NFL, which produces the show, had no immediate comment.

The British singer M.I.A. is best known for her 2007 hit "Paper Planes," a Grammy nominee for record of the year that memorably features a sample of the Clash song, "Straight to Hell." It was featured on the soundtrack to the movie "Slumdog Millionaire."

Matt Smith on who should be the next Doctor

Matt Smith on who should be the next Doctor

Matt Smith has been sharing his thoughts on who should replace him when the time comes for a twelfth Doctor…

Speculation, as we all know, is one of the internet’s major foodstuffs, and Matt Smith’s recent comments in a Press Association interview have given us all something to chew on. Asked who he’d like to see as his eventual successor on Doctor Who, Smith was silent on gender and vague on age but specific on one thing: the twelfth Doctor should be cooler than him.

“I think there will need to be a younger, cooler person than me. Or maybe an older, cooler person, who knows?” So no fezes or bow-ties then?

Smith also added to the recent kerfuffle about his tenure in the role, saying “I don’t think I’ll be doing it as long as Mr Baker,” which means we’re unlikely to see a 7-year stint in the TARDIS from Smith, who also told the Press Association,

“I just sort of take each year as it comes really. We’ve got all the rest of this year to get through and then we’ll sit down and review it from there and see where it goes.”

So someone younger or older than 29 year old Smith, but definitely cooler… Any ideas on that?

Sister Wives' Family Moving Forward with Lawsuit Challenging Bigamy Law

Sister Wives' Family Moving Forward with Lawsuit Challenging Bigamy Law

A federal judge ruled the family's First Amendment rights may have been violated.

The polygamous family featured on the reality series Sister Wives is being allowed to move forward with a lawsuit challenging Utah's anti-bigamy law, a federal judge ruled Friday.

In a lawsuit brought against high-ranking Utah officials and area media, Kody Brown and wives Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn assert the law infringes upon their constitutional rights. Those rights include free speech, due process, freedom of religion, equal protection, and freedom of association, the AP reported.

The family rose to national prominence after the launch of their TLC television show in September 2010. Utah Attorney General Jeffrey Buhman then gave interviews in which he suggested the family would be prosecuted under Utah's anti-bigamy law.

In a 21-page ruling, U.S. District Judge Clark Waddoups said the suggestion of prosecution potentially had a "chilling effect" on the family's First Amendment rights. But it would now be up to the Browns to prove a there was a real threat to their constitutional rights.

Waddoups allowed the case to continue against Utah County Attorney Jeffrey Buhman, the Desert News and Salt Lake Tribune.

Utah's governor and attorney general had also been named in the suit, but the judge dismissed them, noting the attorney general had a policy of not prosecuting consenting adult polygamists for their marriages.

The Brown family has 17 children and are members of the Apostolic United Brethren Church. They said they launched their TV show in hopes of educating people on plural marriages.

'TOWIE' stars 'forced to give producers 15% of earnings'

'TOWIE' stars 'forced to give producers 15% of earnings'

The Only Way Is Essex stars are reportedly being forced to hand 15 percent of their earnings to the show's producers.

Production company Lime Pictures has drawn up contracts to get a cut of all earnings secured because of their links to TOWIE, including payments from magazine interviews, promotional work and endorsements.

The document also states that cast members who quit must continue to give the firm 15 percent from any deals for up to a year after they leave.

The new contracts come after the exits of Mark Wright and Amy Childs, who went on to launch successful media careers.

Wright is predicted to make millions from his appearance on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here and recently landed his first presenting role on Take Me Out: The Gossip.

Meanwhile, Childs secured her own Channel 5 show - It's All About Amy - following her stint on Celebrity Big Brother and has admitted she's nearly a millionaire.

The new cast members, such as James 'Diags' Bennewith and Georgina Dorsett, are believed to have signed the contracts, but the more established cast members have apparently refused the deal and are therefore filming the current series without contracts until the dispute is settled.

Lime Pictures pays each cast member £50 a day in expenses for starring in The Only Way Is Essex. Filming is said to take anything up to 13 hours a day.

"A lot of the cast have jobs outside TOWIE. But if you are working for 13 hours a day that doesn't leave time to hold down a second job, so they are dependent on £50 and anything else they can make from deals," a source told The Mail On Sunday.

"It seems unfair that on top of agents' fees and tax, they also have to give 15% back to the show. We are in discussions with their agents to tell us what their concerns are so we can continue negotiations."

Lime Pictures made post-tax profits of £7.6m on a turnover of £39.1m in 2009-10.

A spokesman for the company said: "We would never discuss artists' contracts. They are private."

Will.i.am: 'Cheryl Cole on The Voice would piss off Simon Cowell'

Will.i.am: 'Cheryl Cole on The Voice would piss off Simon Cowell'

The Voice judge will.i.am has revealed that he is campaigning for Cheryl Cole to perform on his show because it "would really piss off" Simon Cowell.

It was reported last week that Cole could debut her first single since Cowell axed her from The X Factor USA on the BBC One show.

The 'Promise This' singer's mentor will.i.am - who is to judge The Voice alongside Jessie J, Tom Jones and Danny O'Donoghue - has said that he is excited by the possibility of Cole launching her comeback on what Cowell has already identified as his biggest competition.

"I want her on the Voice," the Black Eyed Peas star told the Sunday Mirror. "I mean why not? That would really piss the big man off wouldn't it?

"This is her year by the way - Cheryl is back! You all gonna love her new music - it's on it, on the money."

A source added: "Cheryl has been working on new material for months. She is determined to relaunch herself as a credible artist and The Voice will be the perfect platform to showcase her latest tracks.

"The fact her manager is on the judging panel means it's an absolute no-brainer for her."

will.i.am recently insisted that Cole will never return to The X Factor, declaring: "Why does she need it? Why are you going to make someone else rich? Cheryl needs her own show."

The Voice is set to launch on BBC One in the spring.

Charlene Tilton voted out of 'Dancing on Ice'

Charlene Tilton voted out of 'Dancing on Ice'

Charlene Tilton has become the fifth celebrity to leave Dancing on Ice.

The Dallas star was booted out after falling into the bottom two with Sam Nixon when viewer votes and judges' scores were combined.

After the pair reprised their 'pop'-themed performances in the skate-off, Louie Spence opened the panel vote by giving his backing to Nixon, saying that he "delivered when the heat was on".

Robin Cousins sealed the 53-year-old's fate by stating that she "doesn't compete" with Nixon, while Katarina Witt confirmed that she would have also saved the CBBC presenter, despite Tilton having given "a more solid performance" second time around.

Asked about her exit by hosts Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley, Tilton declared: "You know, I feel alright and I'll tell you why - I have had the most amazing experience... I have gotten to meet these amazing pro skaters, God love you, you take such good care of us."

Turning to mentors Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, she continued: "I'm in the presence of greatness. You two always walk with such humility in the midst of your greatness."

Tilton finished her Dancing on Ice experience by calling over to Spence: "Louie, I'm taking you to LA."

Amanda Holden 'tells Britain's Got Talent team not to replace her'

Amanda Holden has reportedly asked Britain's Got Talent producers not to replace her with a guest judge.

The 40-year-old actress is apparently determined to return to the panel following the life-threatening birth of her daughter Hollie last week.

Holden, who was only discharged from hospital on Tuesday (January 31), is believed to be ready to join auditions in Edinburgh on February 11.

"I'm much stronger and thrilled with my new family," The Mirror quotes her as telling a friend. "I'm hoping to go back to Britain's Got Talent in Edinburgh - I feel so much better it is fantastic."

A source added: "She loves Britain's Got Talent and wants to play her full part. Despite her brush with death she just wants to get back to normal as soon as possible."

Myleene Klass and Samantha Womack are rumoured to have been approached for a guest slot at the London auditions on February 6, though the ex-EastEnders actress seemed to suggest that she rejected the role.

Kelly Clarkson Doesn't Screw Up the 'Star Spangled Banner'

It's not exactly the same, but in the same way that some viewers tune into auto races in hopes of seeing a crash, many of us turn on the Super Bowl hoping to see ... well, something go other than the way it was planned.

For that sort of fan, the "Star Spangled Banner" had to be a letdown, because Kelly Clarkson nailed it Sunday at the Super Bowl.

'Britain's Got Talent' David Walliams banned from making Sinitta jokes

'Britain's Got Talent' David Walliams banned from making Sinitta jokes

David Walliams has reportedly been banned from making jokes about Simon Cowell's ex-lover Sinitta.

Britain's Got Talent producers apparently told the Little Britain star to also refrain from teasing his boss about his height and campness while on the panel.

Walliams told The Sun: "I meet the producers before Simon arrives and I say, 'Can you make jokes about Simon?' and they go, 'What, what kind of jokes?'

"I said, 'Well, I dunno. Jokes about his height?' 'Absolutely no way!' 'What about jokes about his friendship with Sinitta?' 'No!' 'Jokes about him being camp?' 'He detests jokes about him being camp'."

Speaking of a Cardiff audition, he added: "The first person comes on the stage and they say, 'Oh, my dream is to perform in front of the Queen'. I say, 'Well, he's right here, go ahead!'"

Walliams recently admitted that he initially found it difficult to buzz Britain's Got Talent contestants.
