Singer Joey Fatone is one of eight celebrity chef-testants taking part in Rachael Ray vs. Guy Fieri's "Celebrity Cook-Off," which debuts Sunday night, Jan. 1, at 9 p.m. ET on the Food Network.
Joey's Quick Bite, "If you combine good flavors, food turns into an orchestra."
Joey's Behind-the-Scenes Dish:
"I cut my finger pretty badly one day, but I couldn't stop working or I'd lose time. So while the doctor was bandaging one of my hands, I was chopping with the other!"
Was Rachael or Guy more competitive?
"Even though you could tell that both of them wanted their teams to win, they were very supportive of everyone on the show."
Joey before the show, "I only chopped with small knives."
And now, "I use a chef's knife. Guy would yell at me to grab the 'big-boy knife.' I was intimidated at first because it's really sharp, but now I have no fear."
