Howard Gordon Starts Production Pod at 20th TV

"Homeland" and "24" executive producer Howard Gordon has created a production pod, Teakwood Lane, at 20th Century Fox Television.

Under his new deal, Gordon will remain executive producer of "Homeland" alongside his co-creator, Alex Gansa. He will also develop and oversee new series for all broadcast and cable networks.

Gordon first gained attention for his Golden Globe award-winning work on Fox’s “The X-Files,” and was the showrunner and executive producer of “24,” for which he received the Golden Globe and the Emmy Award for best drama. "Homeland" was also recently nominated for the best drama Emmy."

Gordon is also the author of "Gideon's War" and its sequel, "Hard Target."

Gordon has also hired Hugh Fitzpatrick as head of television for the company. Fitzpatrick recently served as the vice president of television development at BBC Worldwide Productions, working with writers including David Goyer (“Batman Begins,” “Man of Steel”), Steven Zallian (“The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo,” “Moneyball”) and Richard Price (“The Wire”).
