Anthea Turner leaves 'Dancing on Ice'

Anthea Turner has left Dancing on Ice.

The 52-year-old presenter was sent home by the judges after she received the lowest number of votes from the public alongside fellow contestant Keith Chegwin.

The pair had to face the 'Save Me Skate' by performing again in a bid to win votes from judges Robin Cousins, Karen Barber, Ashley Roberts and Jason Gardiner.

Turner skated to Michael Bublé's rendition of 'Feeling Good', while Chegwin performed to Rihanna's 'Disturbia'.

All of the judges, aside from Roberts, voted to save Chegwin, therefore sending Turner out of the competition.

Speaking to presenter Phillip Schofield after the result, Turner said: "I'm going to miss all my friends here," adding: "But Robin's right. I probably got to my level in terms of skating."

She also said "a million thanks" to partner Andrew Buchanan, who she said had been "amazing" and "patient" during her time learning to skate on the show.
