Girls Aloud wanted for UK's Eurovision Song Contest 2013 entry?

Girls Aloud are reportedly wanted for this year's UK Eurovision Song Contest entry.

The girlband ended a three-year hiatus last year with the release of their career retrospective Ten and four new songs.

Now, Popbitch alleges that the UK Eurovision team are looking at Girls Aloud for the 2013 song.

The gossip site also claims that the dream team for the UK would include will.i.am, who would produce the track.

This year's competition will take place in Sweden on May 17. German band Cascada revealed their bid for Germany's entry today with the track 'Glorious'.

Celebrity Big Brother star Rylan Clark said after his X Factor exit that he would "happily" represent the UK in Eurovision if he was asked.
