Simon Cowell 'wants Kate Moss as X Factor style consultant'

Simon Cowell reportedly wants to hire Kate Moss as a style consultant on the next X Factor series.

The TV producer is said to be hoping to land the British model to help with contestants' fashion choices, while also bringing in new advertising deals for the show, reports The Mirror.

A source claimed: "Simon is looking at ways of refreshing the show and one idea he will bring to the table is getting Kate Moss on board.

"He knows how important the styling of the contestants is and having a supermodel and a world-famous name on board would certainly raise the bar.

"Kate could give the contestants advice and ideas on how they want to look and also how to look after themselves and still look great in the years ahead."

Cowell's spokesperson is quoted as saying that "no firm plans had been made" over Moss's role, but that meetings will be held in January.

The X Factor producers are rumoured to be planning big changes for the next UK series following a further dip in the ratings for its latest run.

Rihanna was recently named as a potential new judge on the panel, while Digital Spy readers have voted for Nicole Scherzinger to return next year.
