... NBC has ordered two additional episodes of Up All Night, bringing its first-season episode count to 24. The network seems high on the comedy starring Christina Applegate and Will Arnett, as it is also moving the series to the cushy slot behind The Office on Thursdays, starting on January 12. ... HBO is heading back to the Wild West with Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind) for an untitled drama about the legendary Doc Holliday. The gunslinger was most famously portrayed by Val Kilmer in the movie Tombstone, but he was relegated to supporting status even though he was the most badass of the bunch. ... NBC is developing the comedy The New Nabors from The Jim Henson Company. With the late Jim Henson's name attached, you know it's going to feature puppets. The comedy centers on a human family that moves next door to a house full of puppets. [Deadline Hollywood]

... Jack Black has sold a comedy to Syfy that spoofs supernatural procedurals. Ghost Ghirls will be a send-up of female-centric shows like Ghost Whisperer and Medium, focusing on two women who hunt ghosts. [Deadline Hollywood]

... Actor John Neville has died at the age of 86. You may not recognize the name, but you'd remember the face. Neville played "The Well-Manicured Man" on The X-Files and played the lead in The Adventures of Baron Munchausen.
