Charlene Tilton voted out of 'Dancing on Ice'

Charlene Tilton has become the fifth celebrity to leave Dancing on Ice.

The Dallas star was booted out after falling into the bottom two with Sam Nixon when viewer votes and judges' scores were combined.

After the pair reprised their 'pop'-themed performances in the skate-off, Louie Spence opened the panel vote by giving his backing to Nixon, saying that he "delivered when the heat was on".

Robin Cousins sealed the 53-year-old's fate by stating that she "doesn't compete" with Nixon, while Katarina Witt confirmed that she would have also saved the CBBC presenter, despite Tilton having given "a more solid performance" second time around.

Asked about her exit by hosts Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley, Tilton declared: "You know, I feel alright and I'll tell you why - I have had the most amazing experience... I have gotten to meet these amazing pro skaters, God love you, you take such good care of us."

Turning to mentors Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, she continued: "I'm in the presence of greatness. You two always walk with such humility in the midst of your greatness."

Tilton finished her Dancing on Ice experience by calling over to Spence: "Louie, I'm taking you to LA."
