The 'Don't Hold Your Breath' star apparently took Masson to one side following her elimination on Sunday and told her she could have an international career.

She also explained how she had wanted to mentor the 44-year-old from the start of the competition. Gary Barlow has also offered to write songs for Masson.
"Nicole got on stage to ask for a word with Melanie as soon as the results show ended. She spoke to her for ten minutes, telling her she thought her voice was amazing," a source told The Sun.
"Nicole said she was sure there would be a market for her songs in America and she was dying to take her out there.Melanie accepted on the spot."
