TV Land renews 'Hot in Cleveland,' picks up spinoff 'Have Faith'

TV Land has picked up a fourth season of "Hot in Cleveland," and it's given the green light to a spinoff series with Cedric the Entertainer called "Have Faith."

The "Hot in Cleveland" pickup is for 24 episodes, which will begin airing in November. The show is in the midst of its third season now.

The renewal brings "Hot in Cleveland's" total number of episodes to 80, and the show recently locked in a syndication deal to take the show to broadcast stations.

"Have Faith" stars Cedric the Entertainer as the Rev. Boyce Ballentine, an R&B singer-turned-minister who takes over his father's church (the character first appeared on "Hot in Cleveland's" second season). It also stars Niecy Nash as his wife, Lolli, and John Beasley ("Everwood") as his dad.

"Hot" creator Suzanne Martin and Cedric co-created "Have Faith" and will executive produce. The show's 12-episode season kicks off in June.
