Channel 5 has confirmed that Rylan Clark has been secretly leaving the Celebrity Big Brother house to complete X Factor rehearsals.
Evicted housemate Gillian Taylforth accidentally revealed information about Clark's departures from the compound during an appearance on The Wright Stuff earlier today.
Following Taylforth's comments, the broadcaster said in a statement: "Rylan has rehearsed for his tour on site with a choreographer, escorted by a Big Brother producer."
When asked by Digital Spy why Taylforth had mentioned "a driver" in her comments about Clark, a show rep said that the singer may have been driven around Elstree Studios.
Clark's exits from the house break from the main principle of the show - that contestants live in complete isolation without any contact from the outside world.
On the subject of whether it broke the show's rules, a rep told "It's Celebrity Big Brother", claimed that they didn't think Clark had left the house more than four times, and added that it would have been agreed with producers when the X Factor star signed a contract to take part.
The Wright Stuff 'Mic Man' Eric Johnson claimed that Taylforth had confirmed to him off-camera that Clark was leaving the house every Sunday.
"Recently evicted housemate just told me Rylan has been leaving the CBB house for XFactor tour rehearsals EVERY SUNDAY. Ooops!" he wrote on Twitter.
