Carson Daly teases 'The Voice' season three

Carson Daly has spoken of the changes being made for the upcoming season of The Voice.

It had been rumoured that the show would introduce the spinning chairs into the Battle Rounds when it returns for a fall run later in the year.

"We're tweaking the Battle Rounds a little bit for season three," Daly told TVLine. "The best way to categorize the changes is that we're playing with some potential interchangeability."

The host went on to hint that the coaches may be able to 'steal' at least one Battle Round evictee from a competing judge.

He continued: "We had too many people in the live rounds, and it was hard to keep track of them, and it was hard to fall in love because there were so many. When we get to the live shows, we want America to be a little more invested in fewer singers."

Speaking of reports that Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine are now on good terms following their on-screen feud, Daly concluded: "I didn't know what to expect in frame one of season three. I was curious to know if the first time they had an exchange, would you be able to feel any resentment, but it just wasn't there. It's better. It's like they went to couples therapy."

Filming for season three's Blind Auditions is currently underway.
