'Dynamo: Magician Impossible' series premiere caught by 1.1m on Watch

Dynamo: Magician Impossible pulled out an impressive 1.1m for Watch last night (July 5), according to overnight data.

The series two premiere garnered 1.12m (5.3%) in the 9pm hour, easily dominating the multichannels.

On the terrestrials, Let's Get Gold launched on ITV1 with 2.51m (11.9%) and 114k (0.7%) on timeshift.

Traffic Cops managed 3.70m (18%) on BBC One, followed by When I Get Older with 3.72m (17.6%).

BBC Two's evening Wimbledon coverage averaged 1m (5.9%) before Today at Wimbledon and 2012's Hampton Court Palace Flower Show attracted 1.16m (5.7%) and 1.53m (7.3%) respectively.

Channel 4's Country House Rescue had 974k (4.7%) from 8pm (+1: 180k/0.9%). Michael Johnson: Survival of the Fittest won 906k (4.3%) and 145k (0.8%) on +1.

Marco Pierre White's Kitchen Wars brought in 366k (1.8%) on Channel 5. The Hotel Inspector took a decent 1.68m (8%) afterwards (+1: 137k/0.8%) and the latest Big Brother instalment secured 1.17m (6.6%).

Overall, BBC One won primetime with 20.9% ahead of ITV1's 19.4% (+1: 0.7%). BBC Two came third with 6.6% and Channel 5's 4.8% (+1: 0.3%) beat Channel 4's 4.1% (+1: 0.8%).
